I entered Fritou Chicken in Skyview, and it was dimly lit and small inside. I heard from a friend that the chicken strips are really good, so that is what I ordered. I was told that it would be a 15-minute wait, no problem, I walked around the plaza outside twice, then came back in. I received my order, and the size of the chicken strips were literally the size of bananas, oh yeah! They were huge, 3-4 inches longer than a can of pop, so I had some leftovers to deal with. The chicken strips were hot, crunchy and tasty. The Kool-Aid man would agree with my assessment, oh yeah! I didn't care for the dipping sauce, but the only thing that would have complement these chicken strips would have been blackened ranch dip. Worst experience I've ever had! Couple of weeks ago we placed an order for some chicken strips, when we started eating I bit into a piece of chicken and into a curly piece of metal. We called about the situation, they asked if we could bring the food back, but explained that we were on our way out of town and were not able to do so. We sent them pictures of the piece of metal, and they said that they would replace the order the next time we're there. Fast forward to today May 22nd 2024 at 3:06pm. I went to the Skyview Station location at 55 Skyview Ranch Rd NE #2124,Calgary, AB T3N 0E4, the same one, and said" I'm here to pick up a replacement order and it was just called in" the man there said there's no replacement orders. So I tried to explain to him what took place prior. And he said you need to give me the food. I said, again it was to be replaced, he said "I'm the owner and we don't replace food" "and he then said you put the metal in the chicken" seriously!! We order and buy chicken from that location all the time. I could even hear him yelling at the person on the phone that had told us that she would compensate us for the problem. I was soooo mad and fuming at the fact that he would even say anything like that to a customer. Well he only replaced the chicken, ok whatever, but he blatantly refused to apologize for accusing us of putting the metal in the food. I'll tell you I'm not done. I'm taking this matter straight up the ladder to corporate because he could've handled that situation hell of a lot better than he did. So FYI If you have a problem with your order, be prepared to be accused of tampering with your order. If there was a way to give negative negative stars, I most certainly would have done that. read more

I have never been to a restaurant this bad, it's beyond shameful that how people are running a food joint without any rules or respect for the customers. Save your valuable time and go to a place where a customer is appreciated. The family that runs this "restaurant" works with no ethics. It's overpriced with no quality. read more

I love the chicken here but not the person who took my order, works in the kitchen. I came in early to pick up an order, didn't mean I can't wait for it inside. I was there to pay and then wait. The floors are very dirty and the customer service is poor...The man in the store is very rude

So my Fiance and I ate here as we live in the skyview condo located right behind the strip mall. We were eating for us and my fiance 's mother. When picking up our food the gentlemen was polite but when we brought our food home and found our order was missing an item and we had found hair in our chicken we returned to have our meal replaced, the man was irrationally rude and argued with us about the quality of his food and how long he has been established there. We have been customers previously without much of an issue but this was uneccissary arrogance over a 6 piece meal that is easily replaceable. We will NOT be returning. read more

not only it is pretty close to where i live, they also acknowledge my business as their customer. i could buy fritou chicken at the saddletowne location but i always wait until i get home and buy at this location instead, the food they serve is always fresh and i've never had any negative experience from them. a little advice though- it's best to call them ahead so they'll have your order ready once you get there. read more

This is a very family run place right now, with fast convenient food that is also delicious. For the price, you can't beat it.

I was there this evening. I kinda love the chicken but I hate the service. The man who took my order this evening was rude. I was just asking why their price is higher than the other Fritou branches. Compare to the one in Saddletowne, theirs (Skyview branchs') price is 3x more expensive. Out of curiosity, I decided to politely ask. But he was very abrupt about my question and very defensive and even try to shoo me away. I told him Fritou menu is actually online. He denied it, he said they don't have any website. But there is. (Not trying to be right) it just doesn't make any sense to me that this branch is way more expensive than the rest of the branch. QI admit, I still ordered as i was so hungry coming from work. Plus im picking up my husband that works around the area. I regret that I continued my order. He served the food and the 3 pcs of chicken strips are half smaller than what they used to serve. I was very dissapointed. Told my husband we will never go back to that branch and we rather go to Saddletowne branch instead. Too bad they just lost a client that comes to them almost 4 times a week. If I could give them a zero I would. The food quality this time around was awful. The fries were stale and limp with no seasoning and chicken was burnt to a crisp. When I asked for extra hot sauce and gravy he was going to charge me $2 EACH for a small container. The last three times I ordered the 12 piece meal. They gave me once all legs. Another time 8 thighs 4 wings and this time they gave me 6 thighs 3 drums and 3 wings.
