I know that somewhere in the building is a pool since this is where they host their swim program. There are studio spaces. In another area of the building, connected but not in the same building, is Prairie Lakes Theatre which hosts various suburban arts organizations and other events.

When we arrive there used to be 3 courts set up and we had to set up the other 3 as they just left the nets aside the court. They offer no balls or a place to put our rackets like other community centers do. This year we arrive indoors once it gets cold and they haven't put up any nets, 6 are available. The friendly guy at the front desk said the nets are there and you can set them up. What happened to your maintenance man and good customer serve. I asked perhaps I should get a discount for setting thing up for you. I complained to the manager last year and nothing happened. Oh did I mention that when the kids are off from school we get kicked out early. Guess seniors aren't a priority at this center.

In spite of a madcap rush of 40+ new residents caused by the abrupt closing of another "senior" facility up the road, management rose to the occasion over a 4-5 month period to get everyone housed and safely moved in. Toss in another round of Covid, the Flu and artic winter temps, the Holiday decorations were once again Rockefeller Center like. Residents long-term and new have blended together on a mostly joyful. and very friendly fashion. Management continues their top down approach to keep things running smoothly Access to top rated reliable medical care is always a growing need as we all get older. And when buying a house any good realtor will say.... LOCATION - LOCATION - LOCATION!!! This facility has it in spades as well as a an IN-HOUSE reliable bus service to get you to and fro. BDP SHOULD BE at the VERY TOP of anyone's list as a safe, extremely well managed plus welcoming home for you or your loved one. Unlike some of the…read morecommunity theatre venues nearby, this spot had quite a bit of space to sprawl out while waiting for the show to start and during intermission. I like how the hallways were fairly wide and there was furniture to sit down at as well. Parking here isn't too difficult as there are fairly wide spots that go around the whole building and there are multiple entrances into here as well. The bathrooms were also a good size for the number of people that the theatre can seat, so there wasn't much of a line to use them.
