I attended this meeting last Thursday and met many wonderful people. Coffee, popcorn and soda was served while we watched a documentary about WW2 Navajo code talkers. Their restaurant is very simple, but the food is very good, and the prices almost too low. The service is great, and for those of us in our 40's, it makes me feel young to be with so many fun and spry of my elders. So inspiring. I've brought clients in on occasion, as a form of referral as well as a meal, and they seem very impressed by the food and all that is going on there. The programs they offer, such as classes or trips, are excellent from my 2nd hand experience. I've referred several people to their programs and classes, and all have had fairly good to excellent experiences. They offer special trips to events, have concerts enjoy and a choir to join, computer classes to keep up with new technology, games and tournaments, and simply offer a place to hang to share stories. The only negative, which is in the works for them, is their shorter hours. They are looking to stay open a little later, but mostly weekdays only until 4pm. Not bad if you're retired, but more of a challenge for me to pick up information for people who may not live very close, or those who can't drive. Check out their current hours by calling ahead. Come in for a tour, grab a soup or sandwich, and find out what they have!

This facility also offers a wide variety of fitness options (both indoor and outdoor), kitchen, lounge areas, and meeting rooms. In terms of theatre, Big Noise Theatre makes this facility their home. This is a local company which provides quality entertainment at very affordable prices. Some of the recent shows include Chicago, The Odd Couple, Wizard of Oz, and The Last Five Years.

In spite of a madcap rush of 40+ new residents caused by the abrupt closing of another "senior" facility up the road, management rose to the occasion over a 4-5 month period to get everyone housed and safely moved in. Toss in another round of Covid, the Flu and artic winter temps, the Holiday decorations were once again Rockefeller Center like. Residents long-term and new have blended together on a mostly joyful. and very friendly fashion. Management continues their top down approach to keep things running smoothly Access to top rated reliable medical care is always a growing need as we all get older. And when buying a house any good realtor will say.... LOCATION - LOCATION - LOCATION!!! This facility has it in spades as well as a an IN-HOUSE reliable bus service to get you to and fro. I like how the hallways were fairly wide and there was furniture to sit down at as well. Parking here isn't too difficult as there are fairly wide spots that go around the whole building and there are multiple entrances into here as well. The bathrooms were also a good size for the number of people that the theatre can seat, so there wasn't much of a line to use them.

I was staying at one point with my son but that just wasn't working out. But I need permanent stable housing.
