The staff was friendly and genuinely helpful without being pushy -- exactly what you want when you're taking your time exploring a place like this. One thing I really appreciated was the clear pricing. Every item had visible pricing, and they even showed upcoming markdowns for the next few weeks, which made it fun to hunt for deals. They also have a dedicated sale area, which is always a win. I ended up leaving with some beautiful jewelry, antique oil and vinegar holders, a teapot, and even a picture -- and honestly, if I lived closer, I would've walked out with much more. This is absolutely a spot I would highly recommend to anyone visiting the area. It's the kind of place you want to take your time in, and I'll definitely be back the next time I'm in Myrtle Beach.

The prices were the best I have found for Talavera Pottery and the metal artwork is top notch. The unique and hard to find nautical items I look for are everywhere in the shop. I have several pieces of the antique furniture in my home that were restored by the owner and other artisans from the area. If you're looking for great quality items at a very fair price, Artisan's Gallery is a place you need to Include on your list here at the Beach. I was there recently and had an entirely different experience; no one greeted me or said hello. No one asked me if I needed help. The lady at the cashier was just very curt, no smiles, and the other lady looked so incredibly miserable, I felt bad for her. Another lady was sitting on a barstool, barking out orders. The vibe and feel have drastically changed. I'm unsure what happened in the last few months, but something has. It's not just the fun, welcoming vibe; the inventory is very dated. Not the quality it was. I wanted to chalk it up to a bad day for them and returned a few days later--same thing. The service was horrible--the same barking lady was on a bar stool. With so many options nearby with stand out service, I will spend my money there.
