Karla decided to cancel my appointment last minute at 8:50 pm on a Friday. I guess maybe too hung over for a Saturday morning? Either way, I messaged her to no answer. Also, the first time I got my haircut there they cut it too short. This was their second chance. read more

Jess is fantastic! I was from out of town and I got a same day appointment. I walked in super nervous because I have had such bad experiences with salons. My hair was a wreck. I've been looking hair due to stress. It's thin and stringy. Not only is the whole salon itself just a super cool vibe, but Jess herself was just so down to earth and made me so comfortable to be there. I received shampoo/deep conditioner, hair cut and blowout. I got home and could not stop smiling at how beautiful I felt on the inside. Genuinely felt like getting that a weight was lifted off my shoulders that day thanks to her. Recommending Jess to everyone! read more

I came here to get my hair lightened with Brenda and she did an AMAZING job! She really paid attention to what I wanted and made my hair color come out exactly like the pictures I showed her as inspiration. I would absolutely recommend Brenda for hair color, and can vouch for her amazing ability to do blondes! The services were extremely well priced and I thought it was amazing quality for a doable price. Will definitely be coming back! read more

I needed a haircut and naturally used yelp to help me find a place that takes walk-ins. Fringe popped up. Good reviews close by reasonable pricing according. So I go and since I was a walk-in I had to wait. No big. Had a comfy place to sit they offered me some water and I took the time to read. When it was my turn, Celeste introduces herself and off we went. Wash, cut and blow dry later I have an amazing haircut. She listened to what I wanted and managed to turn my inadequate description into a beautiful haircut. I would highly recommend this place. The other ladies that I saw leaving during my time there all had beautiful cuts, colors and styles. Great for women who like a nice salon that comfortable and isn't overly posh/modern. read more

I called to get a same day appointment and Brenda took me right in. Not only was she very nice and great to talk to, she made magic happen with my hair! I hadn't gotten a cut in a while and had a ton of split ends. I also have challenging hair since it's very coarse and curly. She rose to the occasion! She didn't even need to use a flat iron and my hair was transformed. The price was also super affordable. Cannot rave enough!! read more

Fringe Salon - Beautifully straightened with layers - Hair Salons Near Me - El Paso, Texas

I have been going to Fringe Salon for 12 years and it is still great! I see Sandra who does a wonderful job with cutting and coloring my hair. When she is unavailable (only rarely!), I saw Brenda, the owner, who also did a fantastic job. As do Celeste and Lorenzo - who my husband sees. I think it's the best salon and have recommended it to many, including an older relative. The prices are very reasonable and the hours are convenient. read more

Went this past Saturday with Marcella for a cut and style. She did a great job !! She cut my hair just like I requested. She gave me a mini head massage after washing my hair and it was heaven. Literally relaxed me in less than one minute. She styled my hair with the blow dryer and did a Beautiful job. I've been searching for a hairstylist for a while and she's the one. I will definitely be going back to her. I highly recommend her !! read more

I noticed my mother's hair went from drab to fab. I figured she had it done on one of her trips. The color was perfect and the cut was fantastic. I discovered she had it done in El Paso. I was shocked. I know it's mean to say, but I just never expect excellent hair service in El Paso. I expect streaky obvious highlights, not the beautiful blended perfectly matched color I had done today. Lorenzo is the man. He cured my mother's hair issues and did a wonderful job with my color. He even makes cute rustic jewelry on the side. The salon is small, but it has all the amentities you need. read more

Went to another salon and had an awful experience and my hair turned out terrible and nothing like I wanted. My boss told me about Brenda and I went in and she fixed me right up. It was one of the best experiences I have ever had read more

My stylist moved on, so I don't have anyone to recommend here, but I'm leaving the part about the salon itself because that is still true. As for the salon itself, it is small, clean, and the stylist booths aren't jammed up next to one another so you never have to suffer from being assaulted by the hairdryer in use by the stylist next to you. Plenty of free parking too. read more

Marcella did an amazing job on my cut. She did it exactly how I wanted. At the end she asked me how I liked it and if I wanted anything touched up. read more

Rude. Unfriendly staff. I've never been treated with such disdain in a salon in my life.

Been there twice. They're absolutely rude. You walk in and no one even cares. The receptionist is unprofessional and the Salon is definitely not "upscale", like it claims to be. I'm so unimpressed and my hair looks like crap. I spent $150 for my hair to be ruined, contacted the "stylist" and asked her to fix the layering because It was SO choppy. She acted like it was fine and when I got there all I got were dirty looks, she didn't even talk to me while cutting my hair and literally chopped away! I felt so violated and unwelcome that I wanted to cry. PLEASE find another salon to go to! If I could give it zero stars I would! read more

I have been in El Paso just over a year and have been on the search for a great hairstylist ever since. Well no need to look any further!! I have found my stylist. He is the first person who has EVER colored my hair exactly what I wanted. I have dark hair and people tend to give me orange/blonde-ish highlights. My highlights look natural and not that chunky look. Was very knowledgeable and cut my hair exactly as asked. I am particular how I want my hair done, I know exactly what I want. I called the morning of and they had an opening that afternoon. I have to say even with everything I got done it took him half the time it has taken other stylists and he did it better!! Thank you Lorenzo! I will see you soon! I only gave a four star because the salon itself could use just a touch of TLC. Seemed like it just needed a little cleaning/dusting. Its cute, not that bad that I wouldn't go back or anything. That maybe me being picky but I know some girls who might not go back because of something like that so I thought I would share :/. It could have been to, cause it was the end of the day on Saturday. They're closed Sunday and Monday. Maybe they have a cleaning person that comes in on the off days. I know in El Paso dust can accumulate very quickly! lol read more

Sorry to say I did call this salon based on the two great reviews, but no-go. The hours posted online today (Thursday) were until 7 p.m. Called at 2:00 for an appointment because I needed a haircut after work today (interview on Monday in Phoenix and won't have a chance to get a haircut after today). Unfortunately, when I asked for a 5 p.m. appointment, the receptionist told me that everyone was "pretty much leaving at 5:00 today" and seemed utterly uninterested in my business. Too bad, because I don't mind paying for a good haircut and any extra services recommended by the stylist. Maybe the salon management will see this and do some training on how to keep customers (and their $$) from going somewhere else because staff wants to leave early. read more

I recently relocated to El Paso from the Washington, DC/Northern VA area. I took a leap of faith and called up Lorenzo based on the previous review. Sure glad I did! My hair had not been highlighted or cut in 3 months - he had a mess to deal with. He was friendly, easy to talk to and very generous with his time to right my very wrong hair. My highlights/lowlights and hair cut are wonderful. Lots of compliments today. I am very happy I called him and will def be seeing him on a regular basis. Also, his pricing is very fair for the Westside. read more

Love this place and Brenda is amazing!!! Amazing stylist and person. Highly recommend this place to everyone.

I have been searching for a stylist that uses a razor to cut hair. I discovered Fringe Salon. Lorenzo did my hair exactly how I wanted! I'm incredibly picky about my hair, and I felt fantastic when I left. I walked into the salon, I was greeted warmly by the receptionist and Lorenzo approached me and introduced himself. I will definitely become a regular customer at this salon. read more
