Please invest in sensitivity training for your employees. Employees treating customers in a…read moresub-standard manner is bad for business. When customers are treated poorly (or extremely well), they will tell everyone they know about it. That's exactly what I'm doing right now. If you take proper action, I might change my rating. Until then, this is what you get. I had a horrible experience at your store today. The cashier was wonderful (so, please don't reprimand her; she did nothing wrong), but it just takes one experience with a rude employee after to leave a bitter taste in your mouth. After we were done shopping, my husband and I were getting ready to leave. He needed to use the washroom. I drove the motorised cart close to the entrance/exit area, waiting. (The other motorised cart was still available). We had purchased home related items (bedsheets, etc.). So, I waved the receipt to the employee standing at the front entrance area, before I put my receipt inside the packaging of one of the items. I stood up to just put my phone (with my credit card) into my pocket. Next thing I know, this other employee (elderly white male) is eyeing my legs, as if ambulatory wheelchair users don't exist. He then approaches me and asks me if I need the cart. I say "yes, of course". He prods me with the same question repeatedly, and now I'm finding myself having to explain my physical issues (which is really none of his business). He then proceeds with "you'll know what it's really like when you're my age" and then goes on and on about all the surgeries he's had. It's unfortunate that he's had several surgeries, but that is no excuse to antagonise me when I am just trying to shop and leave. He then asks to see my receipt (note, he wasn't doing this for other customers; he wasn't the employee standing at the entrance for any of this; this was clearly a personally targeted situation). I pull it out of the packaging I tucked it into and he goes over every item line by line. Again, this would make sense if he was doing this for all customers, but nope. Just me, AFTER giving me grief for using the motorised cart that is there for people like me who need it to shop. When my husband (white able-bodied male) arrived, his tone changes, but he still goes on and on, and follows us for a bit, as we are trying to leave. We just ended the conversation and left as quickly as possible. In the past, I have been rudely asked if I need the motorised cart (which I absolutely do), and it is annoying, but they don't normally keep bothering me with it. It's a minor annoyance. What happened today was well beyond that. It was ableist, racist, sexist and ageist, especially when he started following us and saying that his friend with arthritis works on a computer all day. Cool, I also have arthritis and work on a computer all day. Just because I'm a disabled woman of colour doesn't mean that I am lazy or have no career. Train your employees to not harass disabled POC customers at your stores. That kind of behaviour is not acceptable.

They opened the fitting room for my sister and five minutes before the store was closing they started harassing my sister and parents to leave the store because it was closing. We were not planning on staying longer than the closing time but they were kind of making us feel super bad and made us walk all around on the outside of the mall to our car. The old lady was especially rude and I would even go to say they were both racist. Kept repeating the mall is closed like we didn't understand English. Super disappointed and never shopping at the Mic Mac Hudson Bay because of this experience.

While they try to boast designer…read morelines, most of their product is very plain or dated despite still having the elevated price tag for Michael Kors, Calvin Klein, etc. They may not realize that most of the same brands are available at Winners (down the hall) at a lower price for more interesting items. My visits to The Bay are almost exclusively for their perfume and cologne department. They have one of the widest ranges I've ever seen (making up for my first unsuccessful stop at Shoppers), the staff knows their stuff, and just about anything comes with random gifts-with-purchase that make nice add-ons to your planned Christmas shopping.

As their website says, "Specializing in seconds and clearings of Stanfield's® products. Quality…read moreproducts at outlet pricing." I would never have walked into this outlet location had it not been for my mother, whose bargain-locator nose always seems to be successful in finding hidden treasures whether from Frenchys, Sears, or Stanfields. It's a small little location, with a tiny little entrance which you'd almost miss against the imposing brick of the rest of the factory. It houses "seconds" in bins on the sales floor and "firsts" on racks around the walls. If I was going to be buying underwear (omg am I really writing a review about this???) I'll be honest and say I'd likely be buying something a little more high end and less practical than what they make at Stanfields, but they also have t-shirts, socks, jackets, yoga clothes, turtle necks, lounging pants, and all kinds of other things. Prices are definitely outlet pricing, so it's worth checking this spot out from time to time to see what treasures you can beat my mother at locating. I walked out with a couple of bags of stuff for $25. Check it out.

Being that I just had a long drive I suddenly had to use the washroom. I asked a sweet young girl if they had a washroom and she pointed it out to me in the second room. I had picked up a hat (grey beanie for $3.99), I thought my father would be interested in, and he had made his way into this second room. So before going to the bathroom I gave it to him to see if he was interested in it. Later I had made my way back into the first room where I was approached (loudly and rudely) by an older woman not sure of her name however I would say she was in her 50's. In front of other customers she raised her voice "what did you do with the grey hat?" I said excuse me? She said "the grey hat you took over to the other room". I looked for my father who was in the room and asked him what he did with it, he said he gave it to my mother. Mom was also there and I asked her what she did with the hat, she said she left it in the other room. The woman that had been questioning me then raised her voice at my mother asking her where in the other room had she put it. All while commenting to 2 other customers about me taking this hat. She got her hat!!!!! And lost 3 customers... And gosh knows how many others. I'm a 36 year old professional woman who has never been treated like a thief before, let alone for a 3.99 hat at a factory outlet store. I commented to the younger sweet clerk that I felt like she was accusing me of stealing and I was told they had someone steal at shirt there last week. Wow certainly doesn't mean you can treat people like that! Then this same woman came back and was talking to the other customers saying that she doesn't know what it is however she doesn't like having anything out of place!!! (Does she know she works in retail?) Really??? On our way out at the dirty cash we counted 4 coffee cups and 3 pop cans and wrappers... Perhaps she should put those things in there place and concentrate less about being ignorant to paying customers. I do not recommend going here.
