I'd had G&G Computers install my wi-fi systems from the very beginning. The wi-fi they installed…read morewas somewhat adequate, as it worked for most of my guests most of the time. However, I'd still get wi-fi complaints on an almost daily basis, mainly about not being able to connect or being bumped off. Truro is basically a one-horse-town when it comes to computer tech suppliers, and I figured that if this was the best G&G Computers could make it, then that's the best I could hope for. Boy, was I wrong! Things finally came to a head and I decided to take matters into my own hands and research various wi-fi hardware suppliers. Based on reviews and online support, I ordered an Ubiquiti Networks system (www.ubnt.com). It's the best thing I ever did! You don't have to be a computer whiz to set up this system; very little esoteric tech knowledge was required on my part. The physical installation of the access point was a breeze and was done in 15 minutes. Once I entered a few basic parameters into the Ubiquiti AirOS control panel, it was off and running, working perfectly and solidly to this very day, with no downtime, and without having to "reboot the antennas" (as I had to do repeatedly with my G&G system). Complaints about my wi-fi are now a thing of the past! In fact, I've had guests say to me, "What did you do to the wi-fi? It's so much better now!" Let me tell you, I was happy to hear those words! If you're the least bit handy, I'd recommend setting up your own Ubiquiti wi-fi system. I did and I saved hundreds of dollars, perhaps even thousands! Mine is a commercial application which serves as many as sixty devices, so don't let the scale of your project scare you. Ubiquiti won't let you down! I wish I had known about Ubiquiti Networks years ago, as it would have saved me a tremendous amount of aggravation, but hey, better late than never. I know, this sounds like a paid endorsement for Ubiquiti Networks, but I assure you, I have received no compensation from them. I'm simply so happy and impressed with their products that I want to spread the word. Great selection of suits and accessories to match as ll pretty reasonable prices that wont leave you broke and guilty that you actually purchased it. Although the location is great and the inside of the store is clean and well laid out, there is barely any selection. Most of the dresses there were in the $200-400 range and the quality just wasn't there. There was only really one small room with dresses. The change rooms felt larger than the dress room. Most of the dresses had very thin fabrics and it was obvious they were quickly and cheaply made factory style. Which is fine for some brides, but it wasn't what I was looking for. Other bridal shops had much better quality dresses that were in the $800 range then reduced to around $300.

In the summer you'd be hard pressed NOT to see men in kilts and among street musicians, there will always be a bag piper or two. So it's natural to find a shop that caters to all things plaid from kilts to scarves and colors of Nova Scotia are reflected in its official tartan . Blue for the ocean, white for the surf, green for the forests, gold for the Royal Charter granted in 1621, and red for the Lion Rampant as seen in the Nova Scotia crest.. Wonderful reminders of a trip to Nova Scotia and this shop is ideally located in the heart of tourist Halifax - right in Privateers Wharf. And in case plaid is not your thing, what about a beautiful Irish hand knit sweater or Scottish pottery or Burns crystal to take home? They used to sell Haggis in a can, but apparently there are labeling issues and so...that's on hold for now.
