The Dutch people consider fries to be their main course, not an appetizer. Therefore places like this are quite packed during lunch and dinner times. RPEL also has gourmet dipping sauces to accompany your fries with such as mayo, Belgian mayo, BBQ, curry sauce, applesauce (a German thing) and their new citrus and truffle mayos. The citrus had the nice touch of actual lime zest sprinkled on it, and the truffle mayo was definitely delicious. They also have a variety of other friend foods to snack on. Yes. The menu is decent, but definitely different than in the US. I chose the Seven Layer Burrito and ordered it without sour cream. So maybe I made it a Six Layer Burrito. I got it with Mountain Dew (of course). The cashier asked me if I wanted my food with nachos or fries and I had to choose fries because WHAT COULD THAT BE? It turns out, the seasoned fries from Taco Bell NL are delicious. This visit fulfilled my craving for Taco Bell. It wasn't a regular Taco Bell trip but it was still really nice and quite satisfying.

While the chicken was perfectly fine, we both loved the beef nachos and crunchwrap. No steak on the menu, but carnitas - which I think would suit the stuft burrito better. The place has 2 floors of seating, a couple little couch areas and a table up front with plugs, like at schiphol, so you can plug in your laptop and get work done. Hopefully they can expand to outdoor seating. I'll be very happy indeed when they expand to the Randstad.

The menus are easy to read with pictures on every one of them. We did not have to wait long for the food to come. The majority of food here is deep fried however they are not greasy at all. The utensils are nicely tucked in paper holder with napkin inside. The garlic and spicy sauce are good with the fries. We enjoyed being here and just relaxed after we chowed down the food.

This is Dutch-style Chinese fast food, which is very different from American Chinese fast food. Here you get to pick the sauce, type of meat (or none), and type of noodle or rice. Also, they use Indonesian words to describe the food, which I found very confusing during my first months in Holland. Warning: it can get super crowded on Friday evening between 18.00 and 19.00.
