Vet prescribed antibiotics for a tooth infection she said would be general purpose and knock out any infection he might have. Wrong. Ended up at BluePearl in triage having his bladder drained. Over $500. The vets are never in the clinic. The east clinic has a male attendant who's just nasty to the clients. He made me cry twice being so rude. I'm looking for a new vet. Since ARL bought these clinics out it's really gone down hill. My dog desperately needs follow up care. But this clinic hasn't had walk in hours for two weeks. Just awful. Paying a little more on the front side will save you money since things will be done right from the beginning. It'll also save you some peace of mind. I'm at my wits end with worry for my pet, caring for him has been a full time job now & I'm stressed to the max. If anyone can recommend a local vet with reasonable rates, hollar.

This is the second time my dog came out with one or more severely bleeding toes. One time is a mistake, we gave them some more chances. No apology. But I also expect them to actually know how to do it (as professionals!) so that he won't be bloodied when he comes out. And constantly being injured during nail trims does not help his fear! Overall, just disappointed with how they treated my dog, and with how they responded to their error.

WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE... They ABUSED my babygirl this past Monday 12/29/25…read more Yes there is ALWAYS 2 sides to the story and there's the TRUTH!!!!! After a visit for updated exam and a shot per conversation with gal when making appointment. My husband took her in for her appointment. 3 ladies in office loved her said oh she's so adorable. She loves attention..... Dr comes in and starts his exam and grabs our babygirl under her belly apparently roughly and she nipped at him....didn't bite... just the warning nip.... Like that hurt.....Immediately he says we need to muzzle her. Says to the technician I think this one is too small puts another one on. Technician holds our babygirls head up into the air while the vet finished his exam. "TAKES THE MUZZLE OFF" tells my husband they need to take her to the back to give her shots and get blood. Mind you my husband has no clue how this works. As I HAVE NEVER HEARD OF THEM TAKING THEM TO THE BACK EXCEPT FOR EMERGENCY CASES..... The tech brings her back to my husband, our babygirl jumps into the chair next to him panting and cowered down like she's been scolded and the tech says she was quite feisty back there and pooped on her leash because she got scared are you kidding me WHAT DID YOU DO TO HER! "REMEMBER THEY TOOK THE MUZZLE OFF" Husband went to front desk to check out.....paid $362 for exam and 1 shot that we were quoted at the time of scheduling appt as I'm a budgeting person. Should have been $113 max..... They come home and my granddaughter notices her cut on her face..... that's when we realized her eyes as well. Absolutely heartbreaking. I contacted the clinic they were closed..... called first thing at 7:30am the next morning when they opened. Receptionist that answered the phone was AMAZING!!! Unfortunately there was no one for me to talk to. Hour later vet himself calls. I asked are you sure you yourself want to talk to me I was expecting ........ he said yes..... I said ok can you tell me what happened in your clinic yesterday, as my baby girl was abused by you..... He said ma'am, your dog was very aggressive. I said so you're confirming to me that you abused my dog he says again I am sorry I don't have video to show you how aggressive your dog was. So now you are confirming to me twice that you have abused my dog. You have obviously seen the photos the receptionist requested me to send to you....We went on and talked about some other things that had been happened. They overcharges of fees, about taking the muzzle off, etc.. I ended up saying I'm done here and hung up. I just want everyone to be aware. If she was so aggressive, why did he take her to the back room without a muzzle on? Why didn't he come back and ask my husband for some help? I'm sorry your dog's being aggressive. Can you give me some assistance or I'm sorry your dogs being aggressive I cannot give her any shots today. We will need to do this at a later date.... no instead he chose to abuse her instead. Obviously, from her eyes, you can tell she had some sort of head trauma either strangled, blunt force to her head, or some kind of restraint or pressure to her head for her eyes to be completely bloodshot. PLEASE DONT TAKE YOUR BABIES HERE if you do don't let them out of your sight

Most of them were like you would expect in any large city and didn't really care about our situation nor were willing to make time to see us in our need. Dr Krista Carroll and Easttown Animal Hospital saved the day with their empathy and assistance for our dog at the last minute. They were able to squeeze him in for an appointment and their attitude of giving and caring for animals was truly obvious, not to mention that amazing Iowa warmth and hospitality that makes you believe in people again! I would go to them as our regular vet if I lived here for sure. The care was wonderful and their attitude was so positive and friendly. I come back regularly to Iowa to visit family and will now plan to see them with our animal whenever we are in town.
