They told me they would call if there was a cancellation. They finally called after weeks of waiting. The new groomer didn't seem interested at all about my dogs. After picking up my dogs, I found the groomer never even washed or groomed their faces or trimmed their nails. I was not pleased with how they turned out. The owner did refund a portion of the bill, but I will never use their grooming services again!

Our heartfelt thanks go to Chris, Abbey, and Brooks at Elite K9. Our story - Enzo is our 4 year old, working line, Czech German shepherd who was poorly socialized due to COVID restrictions. At the age of twelve months, he had been evicted from 3 different dog training schools - including one that told us they trained police K9s. We were told he was everything from "too emotional" to "highly aggressive and a danger to their trainer." We felt so alone. I remember reading the other reviews and thought maybe this guy can help us. My biggest fear was another dog school would promise us all these things, take our money, and then leave us because Enzo is a handful. But Chris was rock solid and never walked away because he could see a path to success with Enzo and guided us every step of the way!! Chris and the team taught us how to clearly communicate with our extremely high drive dog. Now I understand better how and why Enzo reacts to the world the way he does. And I'm still learning too. Elite K9 will educate you in the psychology of how dogs think, and when they say they understand working K9s, they really, really do. It took us 15 long months of the team coming to our house for private lessons, but we have finally joined group class! Something I never thought would ever happen due to what other trainers had told us. Our journey has been full of blood, sweat and tears (literally), and Elite K9 were with us all the way! We couldn't have done this without them. And they are SO patient. Enzo's list of problems was long - basically reactive, reactive, reactive - and Elite K9 created a custom training program to address each issue. If we needed extra support, we got it. If the homework wasn't going to plan, they would modify it midweek to set us up for success. But there is homework so be prepared. And over the 15 months, we (as handlers) have failed more than once, but there was no judgement, only support from the team. Chris viewed those challenges as more data collection from Enzo and opportunities to learn! And group class is awesome! If you're lucky enough to have a "normal" dog and go straight to group class, you'll get obedience and an agility course in one! Enzo LIVES for his turn on the agility course which they change up each week. The team really understands how to channel your dog's energy. And they do different locations to give exposure to different situations and environments to the dogs - all while the team are with you to walk you through it. It's fantastic. I'm so grateful I called Elite K9, and I can't recommend them highly enough! And now Chris offers boarding as well which is brilliant for dogs like Enzo.

They offer a cancellation window up to 4 hours before your appointment and allow you to carry over your deposit to when you reschedule, with no extra fee. So thankful for this understanding. The cost may feel steep, but the in-home service is so so worth it. Iverson had his last meal while the pain meds were administered. It was a distraction where he didn't even notice. He felt safe and comfortable in his home, surrounded by family and on his favorite couch. He was then given a sedation medicine where he drifted into a nap on my chest. When the final medicine was given, he felt no pain as he crossed the rainbow bridge. I have heard horror stories from other in home service companies. I had 3 friends use Caring Pathways and that is why we went with them. I am so grateful and thankful that we chose to work with Caring Pathways. It helps with acceptance and closure and provides a peaceful passing. I will forever recommend them to other family and friends who need to say goodbye to a family pet member.

However, when we picked him up after the 3 weeks we were SO pleasantly surprised by the improvement in his behavior & how well he was walking on leash, understanding the heel, sit & stay commands! They even suggested trying a new cut for her tail, I thought about and thought why not. I am so happy I did, WOW! I have been to a few groomers up here but I have found "The One". I have already booked Piper in through the rest of the year. I am getting another standard poodle and was told how they introduce puppies to make them comfortable with them. Sounds great, I would have never thought of it, they really care.
