And I had to wait in line today as expected on a summer evening. And someone was in there with their dog. Not a service dog. Such a mangy pet. Not only that, but the dog was licking something from a cup on the floor. Sounds like a major sanitation red flag. Not only is that wildly disgusting but it's not exactly the experience I was looking for when o wanted ice cream tonight. I didn't ask for an allergy attack and dog hair in my ice cream. There's ZERO reason for a dog to be inside this small space with open ice cream. Foul.

The location is slightly off the highway so you might accidentally drive by, which would be a huge mistake. Miss Mindy clearly understands ambiance because she has created a fun and attractive ice cream parlor that appeals to the eye as well as to those who enjoy creamy rich ice cream and sundaes plus they have Vegan options for those wanting something sweet minus the incredible awesomeness that creamy ice cream like Miss Mindy's delivers. There is a wide array of ice cream flavor choices from the traditional to the sublime to the surprising (Earl Grey tea with lemon and shortbread... really yummy and I am thankful for sampling it.). Samples are encouraged and making that final decision is difficult but if you can't decide get a sampler box. The small sundaes are huge!! It was a happy ending ice cream stop ... they close for the winter but next ice cream stop I am sure you will find me and my grandson back at Miss Mindy's!
