I went her for a birthday party and since it was friendly just thought it was going to be a descent eat from it's reputation. But I was wrong. They blew my mind with the mysterious birthday song and to make me more surprised they gave me an astonishing sandwich. This bacon barbecue sandwich melt is literally my favorite food. And the restaurant just reminded of a nostalgic feeling of me with my family. This was a 5 star expierence would recommend read more

Listen, Friendly's are a dying breed. They are few and far between and typically run very poorly. May I present to you-the 5 star Friendly's!! Clean establishment. Do not go here!!!! Me and my Pookie went for his birthday and we told our waitress(who wasn't wearing a name tag) didn't sing for him. She was so so VERY disrespectful and even told us f*ck off when we asked for her refills. Overall do not go here it's horrible and gives off back room vibes kinda very creepy. SO DO NOT COME HERE AT ALL . read more

I had a delicious adult mac and cheese and fries. The cookie dough ice cream was just as I remembered it in the 80s. The place is a little beat up and could use a deep clean and some paint, visual maintenance kind of thing. My server, Nicole, was a big personality and very warm and welcoming. Fast food service. I had a good time. read more

It's Friendly's It's good. Not great. Exactly what you expect from a Friendly's. But let's face it: you come here for the Happy Ending sundae (which I wish they'd rename). FOOD: The supermelts and burgers are where this place shines. Since ultimately it's just an ice cream and burger type of place. I rotate between ordering the Hienz 57 burger and the Honey BBQ supermelt. They're my favorites. And they're good. I don't always upgrade to waffle fries, but when I do I get cheese to dip in. SERVICE: The servers are, well, friendly. I usually get good service so no complaints there. PRICE: The 'new menu items' have warranted a small price increase. Now if you want that formerly free happy ending sundae, you have to pay for it. The combos are reasonable priced at $12 for entree, beverage, and two scoop sundae. So it's not a deal breaker. But it was much nicer to get the supermelt and a happy ending sundae for about 30% less $$$. Overall, it's reasonably priced. And it's kid friendly too. Friendly's just reminds me of going out to eat as a family as a kid. So that's nice. OVERALL: This Friendly's is a little dirty-feeling. It may be because the place is outdated and old and a little dirty. But the food is good, service is good, price is OK, and who can say anything bad about Friendly's ice cream? That IS why you're coming after all, for the ice cream, right? RATING: 4 stars. It's just what you'd expect read more

Went to Friendlys family of 3,haven't been back to this Friendlys since covid19. Ordered 2 seniors hamburgers , and 1 kids meal of 2 sliders. I didn't ask for soda for 3 dollars We said well done , no MAYO , and as always we asked for pickles please. Received the bill was charged for pickles. Asked why they said we charge for MAYO too @25 cents each . There should be a notice of what is no longer FREE . This is only the principal of the mater !!!! THERE CHEEP.... The food is good and the ice cream is even better! Last night I saw the "chef" taking his mask off and touching the burger buns with no gloves. In this day and age cleanliness has to come first. Disappointed to see that's not the case here. read more

Food is typical for Friendlys...completely decent. Asked for lemon for my soda, and what our server brought out was brown and slimy. When I brought it to her attention, she seemed quite annoyed at me and no apology was offered. Also, the place was empty but everything took forever. I won't be in a rush to go back. read more

We just had to leave the take out ice cream area. One of the employees came to the front, emptied the tip jar and left while three customers waited to have someone talk to them. This was despite the restaurant being nearly empty. Really poor service. read more

If your hungry and it's not yet lunch time, but close enough, Friendly's is your place. They serve breakfast all day long. We had soups and sandwiches with fries and it was like waitress Christina knew me, she added honey and lemon to my hot tea which none of the other times I've been here did they do that. I put used up items to the end of the table and it was like they magically disappeared. Very fast and efficient. If they posted what times the servers worked so if you had a favorite server you could choose the days to go, I'd definitely come here again when she's working. The tomato basil soup is perfect for dipping your grill cheese or French fries into. read more

I usually frequent friendly because it is convenient. Tonight we went in and we had typical meals that you would expect from this chain. My point of writing this review was to actually point out our excellent service. Our server was sweet, personable and competent. It was just nice to have great service. In the past, we had decent service but our server tonight was better than usual read more

Used to go here weekly but moved. Had an urge for the kickin buffalo chicken strips so we took the drive. What a disappointment. We ignored the signs... that the place was empty because we figured its early so ppl didn't have a chance to get home from work and get there. Friendlys, to us, always smells like dirty diapers and puke lol however the food has been very good. We got our appetizer and right off the bat, the buffalo sauce was brown. We recalled a reddish orange colored sauce. Hmmm ok, maybe they changed the recipe. One thing that should have really signaled us to leave was the celery. Omg! Now this really proves how foolish we are. The celery was brown and rotted on the edges and ends. The ppl cooking here obviously have ZERO care about the presentation. How could anyone put rotten food on a plate and serve it? How does this place pass health inspections? Someone at the board of health needs a swift kick in the pants. I ordered a burger which tasted good and the lettuce was green and fresh, go figure. My girlfriend had a melt of some sort which she said was very good. Fast forward one hour.. Everything I ate wanted out and it was horrible. Never again! Upper management needs to shape this place up or it won't be long before its another vacant building. read more

I think I'm throwing in the towel with this place, or at least this location, after tonight. We were sat in an area where there were 4 other tables full of kids screaming, the other half of the restaurant was pretty empty. It's a warm night and they didn't have the air on, or at least didn't have it on high enough because it was so musty and stuffy in there. We placed our drink orders and told the waitress we needed a few more mins to look over the menu. She literally didn't return for like 15 mins. We order the chicken quesadilla for an app, which was pretty good except it was brought out and we didn't even have plates or napkins. We had to ask our waitress for them. My husband and I each ordered a burger with waffle fries. The burgers were pretty good but the fries were horrible. Soggy, cold and definitely old. We chose to just ask the waitress to remove them, since they are an up charge and we didn't touch them. When we asked her, said asked why we didn't mention it sooner because she would've brought us fresh ones. That was nice of her to offer, 25 mins later. I WOULD'VE asked her initially except she was nowhere to be found throughout our entire meal. She never came to the table to ask how everything was or refill drinks and I'll be damned if I was going to get up and flag her down. When she brought the check adjusted, she said again, "I wish you would've told me, I feel bad" Well you didn't feel bad when you neglected us for 30 mins. Sorry, it's done. I won't return to this sad location. read more
