Thai rolled ice cream is pretty scarce in NJ and our friend had never had it before, so we swung by for dessert after dinner. I had the Thai Tea Petra Mangoberry, which was pretty good. There were 2 main issues for me, though. They don't make it clear that unlimited toppings are included. My brother and friend were under the impression that it cost extra due to the wording on the menu, so they only found out afterwards. For the price, the size is smaller and there are much fewer topping options than other Thai roll ice cream places I've been to. Maybe we'll try some of their other options next time. read more

There is nothing like good bubble tea, am I right? I'm lucky that I spend most of my time up north, where there are several decent bubble tea places. I've been looking for a comparable place down here, and I'm certain I've found it in Bubbles07. I must admit, I first tried this place during COVID, and I wasn't that impressed. But I have since given it a try again, and I must say, their bubble tea is very good. They have a nice list of flavors, plus a seasonal offering. Not to mention, their rolled ice cream and crepe selection is substantial as well. This place is great for an afternoon pick-me-up or dessert spot. I do wish their were tables to sit down in the place, but I'm sure that will come in good time. I like that you can customize your base with either milk or tea, and adjust the sugar level to your liking. Also ordered a crepe filled with Nutella, vanilla creme, whipped cream, strawberries, raspberries, and blueberries and it was to die for - warm, sweet, and melty. This place is essentially like walking into a closet with a walk up window at the far end. If you want to properly social distance, only 3 or 4 people can be inside at once. The window is so small that they can't really see you but there is a doorbell you can ring. They appear to take phone orders however with their limited staff, you may have to wait a while for them to get off the phone. We waited 10 minutes in line and it took 30 minutes for them to prepare 1 crepe and 2 bubble teas. We actually left and came back. But then you have to wait in line all over again to get up to the window for your order. My bubble tea was yummy. I got a honeydew melon green tea with almond milk and boba. My friend very much enjoyed his tea and crepe and he has since had a few others and said they were all very good. The property seems to have a dining area that is closed off by drywall but you can see it thru the window outside so I'm wondering if this is intended to be a temporary design while they either remodel or they just chose to close it off during the pandemic. Outdoor seating is listed here on Yelp under "Updated Services" however, there was no outdoor seating when I visited last 2 weeks ago. They have both savory and sweet crepes to satisfy your cravings. The rolled ice cream are good. You have 4 bases to choose from, my favorite is the thai ice tea. Lot of toppings to choose from, including unique ones like passion fruit jelly and pocky. I am shocked that a trendy place like this exists in TR before any of our trendier neighbors! Very good and very fresh! Found this place on Yelp and wanted something different. The girl at the counter was really sweet and helpful. I had the a vegetarian delight and hubby had the chicken teriyaki. Be prepared to wait though as everything is made to order and they take a lot of pride in presentation. It is a little difficult to eat as we took our order to go but we managed with a fork and some tricky manoeuvring. I hope they decide to open one in Monmouth county .. Twas a first time I ever heard of a dessert place closing at 11pm. The place was clean and organized, they have common bathroom but clean as well. The setup was to really enjoy watching them doing your orders in front of your eyes! Sometimes it's taking too long when the place becomes packed coz of the preparation of the rolled ice cream and crepes which are made fresh upon order but it's worth the wait. It did not quite scratch the itch, It was good I would buy it if I was really craving it. It is pre made so I cant really tell if they used fresh tea or powder. At a pretty much expected price of $6.50, it was perfectly dense and plentiful. The flavor was undeniably sweet and scrumptious. They are very plentiful with the toppings, and the atmosphere is calm and cute. The staff are friendly and personable. I also had a light bulb drink with mojito, and it was delectable with just the right amount of zest. I had a peek at them making a crepe, and it looked great. I'm so glad there's a tea shop like this in town. I'm just a bit let down about the quality and consistency. Sometimes when I have ordered a boba tea, the bobas have gone bad, being crunchy in the middle or being really soggy. Only a few times did I get a good batch of boba in my tea.There's also a small selection of milk tea flavors and sometimes the flavor doesn't come out tasting right. The crepes are yummy but.. the pastry crepe itself is pre-made, I did not see any liquid doe but a solid crepe being heated up again. Though I absolutely love the custard filling options, so good. Loved the rolled ice cream! It was delicious and employees were all really nice. My only issues were the really messy dining area, all the tables were dirty, also the cute green spoons they give you are absolutely awful. It sounds like a silly complaint but with the hard rolled ice cream it's so difficult to eat it with those spoons because they bend and you need to like use your fingers to support the spoon haha. Coming from NYC, I am so thankful and excited to see a new trendy food spot come to TR. I love getting rolled ice cream in NYC and no longer have to wait to get my fix. Fantastic new addition to the mundane Toms River food scene! Had the J-Special savory crepe, excellent! And the chicken teriyaki crepe, okay. All ingredients are super fresh and crepes are made to order. Looking forward to trying more crepes from the menu. Employees are friendly, some are still training, so you have to be patient. Fun to watch them make the Thai ice cream. Definitely Asian style custard in that it is only lightly sweetened and NOT cloyingly sweet like American ice cream.
