I had my first appointment yesterday at your office. Was very impressed with the entire operation. The facility itself was immaculate, and the front staff were very helpful and efficient. Kristina Roub was my hygienist. She was very professional and knowledgeable. She made me feel very much at ease, and answered all my questions. Her knowledge of classic rock is impressive as well. I am usually very apprehensive when it comes to the dentist but I'm always satisfied when I leave here. I've been coming here for about three years now so have seen each hygienist and they are all excellent and will give you a thorough yet meticulous cleaning. They give me a detailed explanation of each procedure and what to expect which puts my mind at ease. They really do stress preemptive care and proper oral hygiene to AVOID serious problems. They genuinely care and want you to have the best dental health. If all they cared about was money I don't think they would do that. The reviews from customers saying they are greedy couldn't be more off. Its probably more like that the customers were not educated on their own insurances or have failed to pay in the past. read more

Love love love this dentist! I have been going here since I was a little girl and will continue to go here as long as I'm close. My original hygienist has left but the new one that took her place is good. She is thorough and explains everything. I had to go back not even a week after my cleaning bc I had irritated gums and thought something had been stuck. I was leaving for an international trip and wanted to get it checked before going in case it was infected. They fit me in right away and did not charge me for it. Everyone in that office is so kind and friendly. I do not like getting my teeth cleaned but everyone they're makes you feel so comfortable that I don't mind going!! Patient beware! They are running a scam. Stating your insurance is accept to get you to make an appointment then AFTER exam when you walk to the receptionist that's when she informs you your insurance does not cover and offers you to open a credit card for balance. While we were in the waiting room my mother and I witnessed this happened to three different patients, then after my mother came out from her exam they did the same thing to her! My mother said the dentist was very good but now she had to switch because of this scam. read more

Make sure you DO NOT sign up for the pre paid plan. Caution once you sign you can't get an appointment until your plan runs through. I had the unfortunate experience to specifically ask if the work was covered i was told yes 100% then after i allowed the work. I received a bill I clearly explained that I specifically asked if it was covered the response was yes if you sign up again.....that is a bait and switch. Do not sign up a little saved upfront is $$ thrown away. Too bad because they are nice but dishonest. Most of the issues arrived once the daughter took over she devised the plan for upfront payment and then just became a money grabber. She has since put me in collection and if she does not remove me I will go to court since they lied about coverage. read more

I have been going to Friendly Dental since I was 5, along with my family. However, today, upon arrival I was confronted with a billing issue that they insisted I pay prior to receiving a much needed root canal. They presented this to me the day of, and insisted it be paid before receiving treatment. I was unaware of this bill, as they sent it to the wrong address which they didn't even apologize for. Upon explaining this, the woman at the desk told me I still couldn't be seen until payment was made. I exclaimed that I was in excruciating pain, and needed to see the doctor immediately. In addition, I traveled a good distance to be there. Still, there was no resolution. They now have lost my business after being a loyal customer of 26 years. What a shame. You should never turn a (loyal patient of 26 years) away when they are expressing that they are in pain. Disgusted. read more

Not so friendly, really. Strong-armed me to consent to a long term treatment plan, when I clearly said I was uncertain about moving forward. Demanded half payment on over $3000 in potential services which they recommended but I have not agreed to. Only wanted tooth pulled. Plus, $50 cancelation fee for next appointment because I said I was coming to appointment after the way I was treated. Not sure if this is their idea of marketing and getting new business, but it is reprehensible. read more

Don't let the smiles fool you! When I visited here late last year for the first time, they never told me they were out of network until I had my xray done, so I left for another dental clinic and took another xray there. I just found out now that I have to pay for the service of the xray I had done in this clinic because my insurance wouldn't cover 2 xrays performed within 32 months. I called and explained the situation and they wouldn't give me an exception, even after I told her that I might come back to this clinic(not too happy with my current one). In a way it's a little shady on their side- if I had known that they were out of network, I wouldn't have done the xray. At the end of the day, I can understand, that it's a business, and it's all about the money, no matter how friendly they seem. read more

I visited once for cleaning and had very good experience with Dr. Pete and his dental team however front desk management didn't do good job and looks greedy. After my cleaning and x-ray exam, Front desk assistant explained me about insurance portion amount and mine contribution. I Happily paid the amount billed by front desk assistant. Now after a month I received another bill from friendly dental which has completely surprised me and when I called them they explain that some services not covered by insurance and they did some mistake verifying things with insurance initially. Overall, they gave me impression that they are more into money making group than truly helping people. I paid the second billed amount however I am not going to friendly dental again and won't recommend you going there. read more

This office continues to make appointments with the patients knowledge and than goes on to charge $50.00 cancellation fees. My family were patients of this practice for over 18 years without issue. This past July my 20 year old son missed his appointment and than the 50.00 bill arrived. I called very upset as it had never happened to us before. The sent me a new bill with "courtesy" waive of the fee. Okay, so I conclude the next appointment my son totaling forgot about. Again, the $50.00 cancellation bill arrived and I paid it. Fast forward to today, and another bill arrives. They went ahead and made an appointment in my son's name. He is at college and there is no way he would have made an appointment for early December. Again, the $50.00 cancellation bill arrives and I think it goes back to late August. They go on to tell my my son made the appointment, which he did not. My son said they called him twice regarding an appointment, that he never made. If business is that bad that you need to use patients that are no longer part of your practice by making appointments in their names and then billing for cancellations. This is beyond words.
