DON'T bother with this one…read more As the previous reviewer stated, the office staff is incompetent, lacks basic customer service skills, are liars, and not one person in that office actually cares about anybody as a patient, just a dollar sign. I was charged $100 for a basic routine cleaning that was %100 covered by insurance (because of a mix up with insurance information). I called the office IMMEDIATELY the next day to correct the insurance information, and every day after that to make sure the claim was submitted correctly, and to have my $100 refunded. No one would call me back. When I did get someone on the phone, "Oh, so and so is on vacation, you'll have to call back next week". Over the course of the past 3 1/2 months I have been trying to get my $100 back. They finally send the check, only to find out that they sent it to my ex-husband, and "Michelle" accuses me of telling her that's where I wanted it sent. Right, because I just am that generous that I want to give my ex-husband a free $100?!?! Then I'm told the check will be reissued, but they're going to have to charge me the bank fees associated with the stop payment of the original check. What?! You're going to try and make me pay for YOUR mistake? I think not. Dozens of phone calls, repeated messages left for Dr. Dlugosz herself (who refuses to call me back and speak to me directly). "Michelle" FINALLY (after literally about 8 or 9 phone calls) agrees to "waive the fees". 3 1/2 weeks go by and I FINALLY get my check. And wouldn't you know it, it was for only HALF of what they owed me, with a statement saying I supposedly owe a missed appointment fee from TWO YEARS AGO. These people are unethical and will do whatever they can to get every last dime out of you that they can. I guess they are financially hurting that bad, but are only making it worse for themselves. My son and I have been patients of Dr. Dlugosz for the better part of ten years, and this is how I am treated?! Never again will I step foot in that office again.

Every step of the way, things are explained to you and shown to you -- no guessing as to what's going on. As pain-free as dentistry can possibly be. I have brought every member of my family to her -- from kids to geriatric cases -- and they've all felt the same: They love her. I cannot tell you how many problems she's taken on from other dentists and corrected. And finally, there's Dr. Wagner's effervescent personality. I searched for "Best Dentist" near me and found Bella Dental. Dr. Michael Alkon & Dr. Alex Shor immediately met with me and thankfully, the pain was soon gone. Dr. Alkon took an X-ray, explained what was necessary and performed the word that we as patients all fear. Root Canal! All I can say is that the procedure was painless, pleasant, and I really appreciate their bedside manner, confidence, and most of all, that I had selected the right practice for my dental emergency. Primarily, he did my crowns that I am ultimately going to do over, just a year later, which I am dreading going through this process yet again. My six front teeth are actually crooked (angled), which changed the shape of my face slightly, are too yellow, and affected my bite where one side of my back teeth no longer connect, which he denied many times. He even suggested that I perhaps am not remembering my bite correctly. The teeth are too large/long, especially where they now connect in the middle, which is what ultimately affected my bite, which has since been validated. Additionally, the last time I was there for my cleaning, he held a staff meeting - in the waiting room - that ran over into my appointment by close to 20 minutes, and he unapologetically sent myself and one other patient out in the cold (it was January). The front desk apologized for the inconvenience, however Dr. Schor did not and stated "you need to wait, we are in a meeting."

He came out of this experience like a brand-new little boy. My son has special needs and significant sensory processing difficulties, so dental care can be extremely overwhelming for him. From our very first visit, KidZdent showed us a level of patience, compassion, and understanding that I will never forget. Our initial assessment was with Dr. Vrinda Tarneja, and she was absolutely exceptional. My son was extremely upset and overwhelmed, but she remained so calm, soft-spoken, gentle, and patient with him. She never became frustrated or rushed him. She worked at his pace and treated him with such dignity and kindness. At the same time, she understood how nervous his dad and I were. She explained what she was doing every step of the way, helped calm us as parents, and carefully explained what needed to happen next. Within only a few weeks of that initial assessment, my son was scheduled for the dental treatment he needed under anesthesia. I honestly could not believe how quickly everything came together. On surgery day, we met Dr. Ilona Aleksandrovich, who was just as wonderful. She was incredibly kind and reassuring and took the time to explain everything in detail before the procedure and again afterward. Knowing that my son was being cared for by someone so patient and compassionate gave us tremendous comfort during an incredibly emotional day. And it wasn't only the doctors. The entire KidZdent team was phenomenal. Every person we encountered treated our family with kindness. I cried my eyes out because I was so nervous for my son, and instead of treating me like just another worried parent in a waiting room, members of the staff continually checked on us, comforted us, and even hugged me. That human connection meant more than they probably realize. As the mother of a child with special needs, I cannot adequately explain what it means to find medical and dental professionals who truly see your child; who understand that patience, gentleness, trust, and compassion are just as important as the treatment itself. And then to see my son afterward doing so incredibly well...it has been emotional in an entirely different way. I am still shocked by the transformation. He seems like a brand-new little boy, and I am beyond grateful that KidZdent was able to help him. KidZdent has truly been a Godsend to our family. Dr. Tarneja, Dr. Aleksandrovich, and the entire team are angels on earth in my eyes.
