All the food I've tried here is awesome! But the seating makes it an undesirable lunch spot. Perfect for takeout though. Also, I have a hard time choosing only two sides. I don't see any pricing for adding sides a la carte or bundled at all. I'm looking forward to seeing their progress. read more

Tried it today with the hubby. I was so disappointed. I was looking for some soul food (like my mommas cooking or close). The prices were great so I sent my husband in, I had the Mac and cheese, broccoli casserole and fried shrimp. My husband got green beans baked chicken and yams. I couldn't wait to dig in, I started with my fav the mc n cheese. It was bland and just not what I considered southern style Mac n cheese. Next I tried the shrimp, idk what I was expecting here but I didn't get it lol. There was no flavor to the shrimp at all. The broccoli casserole was decent but I had to add salt to everything to make it edible. My husband enjoyed his food which is why I gave 3 stars. I'm writing this before I even leave the parking lot. I'm from Illinois and it's been a while since I have been in Warner Robins with COVID. Got to stop here tonight and I'm so impressed. First of all, I'm not sure how they stay open with all the food you get for your dollar. I only finished about 50% for 11 dollars. The peach cobbler is so good that I took it back to my hotel room. Fried chicken and livers were great. The collared greens were delicious. It's one of those dining experiences you will always remember. I'll be back next time I'm in town!!! read more

Absolutely love this, I do agree on seating it's limited but then again they just opened and probably didn't expect the big crowds. I've seen about 30 people come in all at once and enjoy the food. I'm also not a pork eater so I recommend they cook the collard greens without it but everyone I've seen eating it highly recommended. read more

Limited seating but the food was good and cheap! We tried the fried chicken which was juicy and crispy with a side or blacked eyed peas and greens. Also tried their fried green tomatoes and boy were they delicious. Two plates for under $15!! To top it off they had wonderful service which was definitely a plus. We have been there many times in the last year. It was great back then , but its been slowly down hill. My husband & I went tonight & it will be the last time . For about 20 minutes they were out of mashed potatoes. Nothing but chicken cooked in different ways, the dessert table stayed out of a lot of things for a good while . My husband & I took turns going to check until finally I cought someone coming out of the kitchen & I asked him . He did get it pretty fast. We just weren't impressed anymore. read more

Most of the food was wonderful. We had the fried chicken, beef tips and fried pork chops. I haven't eaten the meat as I'm writing this post, so I'll update later. Onto the sides. They definitely give you your money worth, however, out of the mashed potatoes and brown gravy, mac n cheese, fried green tomato's, Lima beans, the cucumber and tomato salad, the chicken salad, the deviled eggs and the peach cobbler...everything was incredible except the potatoes and the deviled eggs. The gravy had wonderful flavor but the potatoes were lacking, as was the filling of the deviled eggs. You could taste the paprika that was sprinkled on top, but the filling itself only tasted off eggs (no salt or pepper or anything). This place is a worth a trip...or 2 or 3. Even though there were a few things I wanted to add much more seasoning too, overall it was worth it. read more

I first experienced this place about 5 months ago coming from Augusta, GA. I love it and the customer service is always nice and great except for this one darken haired woman named Brandy who says she's the manager. She is beyond condescending, rude, and unprofessional. I've been going to this place almost everyday for a few months straight and everyone's great there except her. Whenever I go in I'm always hopeful that anybody will fix my food other than her. Sometimes I've noticed her get up from tables and go behind the counter and out of her way to fix my food. Well today I unfortunately had the experience of her fixing my food. I got the American combo (which is 2 meats) I got fried pork chop and Salisbury steak. I said to her "can I get both meats on the same plate". I've said this to many other people working there and they're all fine. Most ask, am I sure? I always reply yeah all of its all going to the same place. We then smile exchange pleasantries and that's it. I was thinking she would be great w/ putting both meats on the same plate b/c it would be less work for her and she would save a Styrofoam container for her company. But no she says to me "don't tell me what to do". So I said "excuse me" and asked "what did you say". She begin to mumble under her breath as if she needed restraint. I then said "I would like someone else to fix my food please". I asked the other lady behind the counter and she said no problem. The other lady attempted to fix my food. But then Brandy says "no you have to get what I fixed or get out". I told her I wasn't comfortable with her fixing my food. I asked for a manager and she said it was her. I asked for the owner's information and she said he wasn't there. So I asked, "well what's his information in case something happens when he's not here". Her answer was "dude he's not here". She obviously didn't want to give me a way to make him aware of her actions. So I said fine. I paid the other lady behind the counter and left. The sad thing is that I love this place and the rest of the staff. I have conversations with all of them and I ring the bell all of the time there b/c the people there other than her are great. She's putting a black eye on a very great establishment. I know I can't be the only person she's behaved this way with. If you're the owner and you read this you can ask your staff about me. I'm sure they'll remember the guy that comes there faithfully and is very nice to everyone. The behavior of that manager is terrible for business. I know I spent tons of money there and was trying to happily do so today. Bad service will ruin great quality always. read more

Tried this new place today and have to say I was very impressed and left very full my wife and I ate there for 15.00 tax and all. Had the fried chicken Mac and Cheese and Gizzards only disappointment was the Fried Green Tomatoes were not very good they were soggy might want to change the name of restaurant but I will be returning. My favorite place for takeout because I can get a home style meal without waiting long. It's definitely not a 5 star place though. A lot of the food is mediocre for what it is but they do give big servings for the price. I definitely prefer their food to fast food joints because it's more of real food for a similar price. The parking and seating aren't the best so be aware that you might have to wait for a table if you wanted to dine in. But overall, I recommend! read more

While having my computer repaired a few doors down form Fried Green Tomatoes, I decided to give it a try. I was very pleasantly surprised. Servers were very friendly and helpful. Food was excellent. I had fried chicken, smoked sausage, cabbage, fried green tomatoes and cornbread. The price was very reasonable. Yeah, so the crust on the fried green tomatoes was not the crunchiest I've ever had. But then again I like fried green tomatoes, not thick crunchy breading. I had the American Combo that came two meats. The two meats were two pieces of fried chicken and two large pieces of smoked sausage. The steamed cabbage was some of the best I've eaten, very mild and tender. Cornbread that came with it was excellent. All this high quality food and a drink for 7.99. All in all, beats fast food places by a country mile for about the same price. read more
