Frozen margarita
Gleicyane G.

The ambiance is very nice here. It's very cozy and I like all the wall decorations including the Frida portraits. I also liked that the menu was different from places like Aurorita and Margarita. This place had more mole choices and their sauce for the totopos was a tasty chipotle sauce. Service was excellent. Everyone was friendly and they checked up on us frequently. As for the food I really liked the ceviche. The only thing I didn't like from the ceviche was the iceberg lettuce that came with it. The queso fundido was disappointing. I think they used mozzarella. My husband and I shared the fajitas and carnitas combinadas. You get a little bit of everything g here. My favorite was the pibil. The refrito was also very good. The chocolate cake dessert was delicious. The margarita was strong but not sweet enough. I didn't like the frozen margarita. My biggest complaint was the price. I felt it was too expensive. I would consider retiring but not too often because of the price and there are also better Mexican restaurants out there.

I hadn't been here in a long time and my wife and son had never been here, so we decided to give it a shot for dinner. I'm adding a star because of the service. We had multiple servers constantly check up on us. They were always friendly and professional. As for the food, it was mostly bland: the ceviche and queso fundido. However l, I did like the fajitas and carnitas combinadas dish. The margaritas were also pretty good.

Super recomendado. He ido por años. Consistencia en los sabores, con un personal atento y amable. Volvemos una y otra vez.

Tonight my best friend and i decide to visit Frida's for the 1st time. The food was amazing! The service was spot on, we give 10 stars to our server Alejandro, he was very happy to assist us and we even had a good and great conversation about Mexico. We have been in Mexico twice and Frida's was able to bring back great memories from our travels to Mexico. We will be back!!! From now on, Frida's is a must for us!

Worst experience ever in my live... 1hour 45minutes for only sodas. Because order never arrived. Management never have the reason why our order never arrived. The waiter never answered or questions about the order... the restaurant was merely empty. So the only reason why it take so long was the waiter never send the order to the kitchen... wao super bad Experience... 2 more families was having the same problem... don't do it... go to chili's

Yummy margaritas

This place was so fun that I almost didn't make it to the airport! After a late lunch at another restaurant we met a friend for drinks before taking me to the airport. I did try some of our friend's chips with guacamole and refried beans. Very authentic mexican food and delicious! Awesome service, great food, drinks and ambiance!

Food is okay for being Mexican food in Puerto Rico. The service is great, knowledgeable staff, and the menu offers lots of options.

Service is terrible, food wasn't the best, I have to ask three times for a drink. Expensive and poor service.

The waitress was nice, but really didn't speak English, so I ordered a Corona and ceviche tacos. The food was brought out quickly in this open air patio and the tacos were perfect. Sweet, yet with a pickled tang. Good stuff. If you are in for a walk for some reasonable food and beer, I would go here off the main strip of San Juan!

We waved as we walked in to a waiter, pointed to a seemingly available picnic table, and he waved that we were good to go, so we sat right away, at 7:45p...after that more tables opened up. Drinks: 1. Pina colada - no bueno...like a coconut ice, not pina colada. 2. Passion fruit juice with fresh mint - delicious! 3. Cherry juice drink with alcohol - wife liked it, and I thought it was good. Appetizers: 1. Beef empanadas- I thought the crust overpowered the meat and onion, but daughter and wife loved it. 2. Nachos - terrible. Chips were stale and cheese/beans covering was bare, but then they gave us additional refried beans in a little cup, and straight I thought the refried beans were delicious. 3. Baha fish tacos - phenomenal!!! Entrees: 1 Chicken fajitas: disappointing. The spicing was off, on the chicken, and the guacamole was mostly sour cream. 2. Steak fajitas: very good and way better than the chicken Service was quick and the staff knew their stuff, but it took a long time to get the bill because other tables came in.

The place is full of plants and accommodation it is set per COVID protocol. There's an outside area which looked nice, but I did not eat there, I ate inside. We had the Paloma which was very tasteful and refreshing, a friend had the Tacos al Pastor and he reported was super yummy, we ordered the melted plain cheese as an appetizer and no regrets! I had the portobello tacos as my fish and it was exquisite. Service was super fast and very attentive, food took minutes to get to our table and the place was busy. Definitely recommend this place, and 100% coming back! IG: @notyourtypicalcub www.notyourtypicalblog.com

We were craving some street style tacos and saw the great reviews from my fellow yelpers! We enjoyed the shredded tinga tacos and the carne asada. I preferred the carne asada over the shredded tinga tacos. The queso was pretty good but probably would have been worth it to add the chorizo for a little extra flavor. The chips were a little thicker than I prefer, but definitely hand made in the restaurant. The service was great, all of the employees were so nice and we got our drinks and food quickly! Seating is indoor and outdoor. This restaurant would be good for larger groups as they have some larger tables. We will be back! There was plenty of street parking, but no dedicated parking lot.

We were brought chips and salsa to munch on while we perused the menu. The chips were stale and definitely not fresh. I liked the salsa, but just a heads up that it's a bit spicy. The food was great other than this. Three of our party had the Tri-Juana which was a taco, burrito, and enchilada. I was told the taco shell was stale, but it was otherwise good. Three of our party had soup (I didn't get any pictures), and they said it was really good. I had the Chicken Enchiladas with Mole Poblano sauce. I thought this was incredible. The flavor was rich, and the shredded chicken was cooked just right. It came with rice and refried beans which were also delicious. Most of us had margaritas as well. Their margarita menu is huge. I had the Caribbean Rita was refreshing and hit the spot perfectly. I would definitely have this one again. The reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 was because even though our server was very friendly, the service was incredibly slow. We'd been there for 30 minutes before we even ordered our drinks and food. Our server was visibly busy managing many other tables. I imagine the other servers had been cut due to the time of day, but it was frustrating. (That and the stale chips). The ambiance was nice, and the location right inside the mall, close to the airport, was ideal. I would definitely go back, but I would want to try another time of day to see if the negative factors from today would be better.

Unfortunately, this place was a disappointment. The service was very slow, although our waitress…read morewas genuinely nice, helpful, and did her best. The food itself wasn't very good. The fajitas tasted like they were made with cheaper quality ingredients, and the guacamole seemed like the premade or frozen kind rather than fresh. There was also a very loud live band, which made it difficult to enjoy the meal. The guitar amp kept scratching and cutting in and out, making the atmosphere even more unpleasant. Between the slow service, food, and loud music, I wouldn't recommend this place
