Honestly, I don't even know where to start. If I could give zero stars, I would. We came on Friday night and our experience at Fricker's was truly bad. We ended up waiting over an hour and 15 minutes for our food, and it wasn't just us there were a lot of other people around us complaining about the same thing. When the food finally came out, it was just okay, nothing special. The portions were also pretty disappointing. Getting 10 chicken chunks here honestly felt like what you'd get for 5 somewhere else. The only good part of the whole experience were the kind servers. You could tell that they were trying their best and they were having to do so much more than normal. I especially want to mention Emily, she was super nice and very attentive, she kept doing her best even while customers were getting upset about the wait. The wait wasn't her fault at all it was due to Fricker's being understaffed. She's honestly the only reason I'd even think about coming back. It's just sad seeing employees put in that kind of position. There weren't enough staff, and the people who are there had to work so much extra. In all that's not fair to them. I really hope things improve, because right now this just wasn't a good experience at all, and I wouldn't come back unless things change. read more

I'm from out of town and I go to Fricker's back home often. My hotel was right down the road from this location. Figured hey, that sounds good. I ordered at 5:30 to take back to hotel. Get to the room and the wings caked with sauce. Normally I wouldn't complain however they are burned. Nasty nasty. I ate 4 wings out of 20, threw them away and walked to Big Boys. My family decided to give Frickers a try after months of not eating there. Big mistake. As we were seated, we noticed the table across from us was looking around for their server. I went to pick up an online order. The order was supposed to be ready at 6:20 PM. I arrived at about 6:15 PM. After about 20 minutes nobody had even acknowledged that I was there. I never saw a hostess, so I went to the kitchen entrance and asked if my order was ready. It was still not ready. I sat and waited even longer. Eventually, I received my food at 6:50 PM. Worst service and food I've ever experienced at a Fricker's. There were 2 waitresses, one of which sat us and and the other took our order, but then neither ever returned to the table. The bartender (who was plenty busy with the bar) picked up our table after we sat without drinks for at least 20 minutes and was kind enough to check in on us. She even had to leave the bar and serve us. The burger we ordered was like a hockey puck and the rest of the food was cold. I have Fricker's 3 stars for many reasons. First, the waitress we had (Marissa) started out great at first. Then over time she got worse and worse. She stopped checking in with us or asking if we needed more drinks. At the end when we told her we were ready for our checks she took close to 20 mins to just give us our receipts so that we can pay. Once we got our receipts she took about 10 more minutes to collect everyone's form of payment. This was one of the many things that started to irritated us. The food: All of our orders were wrong. 4 people got wings and on person ordered a burger. We had ordered mild, kicker, little kicker and Memphis molasses bbq. When the wings came out the were all BBQ. Then the second time they came out they were all mild. This was the most stressful thing ever. We were just all confused why the wings kept getting messed up when and we clearly told her repeatedly what we wanted. By the time the wings came out correctly the burger was already cold along with the firs set of wings. The only positive about the whole experience was that they offered $4 margaritas and long islands. Which to be honest I didn't think that they were that bad. Some orders Long Islands and said they were strong, while the ones that got margaritas soar or tasted just like juice. The margaritas only come on rocks. But they do allow you to add flavors to the Long Island along with the margaritas. I had a st strawberry margarita and my friend had a strawberry Long Island. My son and I came here while visiting for a baseball tournament. It was the only place we could sit down and eat at 10pm. Not crowded but took 45 minutes for food to come out. Ordered and appetizer and it did not come out...told the waitress to just take it off the bill and she happily replied that "it's been sitting up there and I just didn't see it". My son ordered pulled pork and received a bacon, bbq cheeseburger (burnt!). She replied that someone showed her what to ring in and when I said that he ordered pulled pork, she replied no one had ever ordered it before and she didn't know how to enter it. Used to be my favorite Fricker's location, because of a former Waitress, Chera. I'd always go and request for one of her tables, because her personality is just Phenomenal. This Past Saturday has changed my mind completely, I went in and asked for her, and they looked at me like I was crazy, sat our group with some new waitresses I've never had before and the experience was just Ridiculous. Put In the order for our beer, 30-45 Minute wait, food hour- hour and a half. Check was another 30 minute wait. And during all this the waitress only checked on us 1-2 times. I get it times get busy, I understand that I've worked in food service, but this was ridiculous. Over in the corner by the kitchen and the back Keno Machine, there was a man, the way he Acted, kinda resembled Adam Sandler from Big Daddy, with his little kid with him, he was hopping around, dancing, going back to the kitchen, multiple times I looked over and clocked the waitress sitting at that table, or she was no where to be found to ask for refills, etc. My buddy ordered some nachos and the chips he got were so stale, it's as if they were WEEKS old. We had a horrible experience on Saturday, August 30th. The place was crowded, but we got to a table in a reasonable amount of time. We ordered Beer and an appetizer, then later an entre. Everything seemed to take too much time. But the place was busy so we paid it no mind. The problem was that when we were ready to go our waitress was nowhere to be found. When we saw her next, I stood up and indicated we wanted a check. She disappeared for awhile; when she reappeared my wife signalled that we wanted to check. Nothing happened. A table near us became occupied and she went to take their order and to chat with them as she knew them. She took no notice of us. I went to the check out and demanded to see the manager. When he got there I explained the situation. He did not seemed concerned and did not apologize. The waitress finally came over and it turned out she had made a mistake in the check which had to be corrected. She never apologized. I paid the bill in cash with no tip, which is extremely rare for me. Indeed, I can't remember not paying a tip for the last 40 years. read more

The food is actually pretty good. Despite what other reviews say; I didn't have a single cold item served to me over the 2 visits I made here while in town (even ordering past 930pm). My biggest issue is that the bartenders don't care about you unless they know you. I asked for food at the beginning of halftime during the Cavs game and didn't get somebody to come back to me until the start of the 4th quarter (once my beer was gone). There are 2 bartenders and 9 people at the bar so it shouldn't have been that much of an issue to at least check in with me over the course of 25 minutes. During these 25 minutes they came and talked to 2 groups of guys to my right and left multiple times but continued to ignore me. One of the guys tabs is named "Cutie" if that helps to paint a picture. Again, overall, their food is decent, their beer is cold and relatively inexpensive. If your bartender is Allie, then you're good to go. Any other nights, you can take the chance. But there are apparently a lot of options around the area. I might take my chances going somewhere else. Edit: Bourbon Molasses is not any form of BBQ even though it's listed as a BBQ flavor. It is honestly just molasses with a bit of pepper thrown in. Avoid this flavor of wings if possible. Typical sports bar type restaurant, with a few too many TVs, but the food is good, and service was okay. I had the CB sliders with wedge fries. They give you 4 sliders instead of the 3 you usually seem to get, and they were very good. Potato wedge fries are one of my favorites, and they were very good too.
