My boyfriend and I spent one day in Roanoke. I popped in thinking I would just look at the shinies and not get anything. I was so wrong. The owners are wonderful and friendly and showed me lovely pieces, all reasonably priced. I found a fun moonstone ring, a pendant set with a large citrine and small amethyst, and a pair of green amethyst earrings (same color as the citrine). Then I saw the tiny ring in the middle - a beautiful Edwardian setting with a clear white topaz. The owner said "I love that piece, we've had that forever and it never fits anyone." I tried it on and it fit perfectly. She said, "that is beautiful on you, make me an offer on it." I did, she said "done"! The stones don't show well in the photo but they are all clear and have lovely sparkle. I even went back to get a necklace for the pendant.

I had a positive experience at Bishop's before, so I decided to go there for estimate. Mr. Bishop recommend a specific repair and I felt the cost was fair for the job. When I got the ring back it exceeded my expectations. The entire bottom band was replaced and it looked like it was original. I had not worn this ring for many years due to the thin, broken band. This ring is very sentimental to me as my Grandfather gave it to me in 2006, and he wore this ring since 1953. I couldn't say thank you enough as I was leaving the store.
