Wife got the Aztec bowl while I got the Asian fusion. I must say, this is one of my favorite vegan restaurants in the city. Consistently very tasty. Service was great and prompt. They were out of quite a few things but I wont hold that against them too much. It was around lunch and had a normal lunchtime feel. Very clean and well lit. Definitly hits the wallet nicely though. It's not cheap eating healthy, haha! Definitely recommend checking this place out if you haven't already. Definitely a nice change from other places. Replenish the body!!!

Since moving quite far away, I haven't had the chance in probably 3 years ish. To me, the fact that my 'go-to' is just as delicious as I remember speaks to consistency. I ordered the Aztec bowl with Tempeh. Pretty delicious- lots of different textures which is always what I like in a bowl. Service is good enough- it's a walk up type service, so you don't need much. They provide cups and a sink to fill your water yourself. They were sold out of many things, but fortunately not what I came for haha. Inside it has a quick service vibe like Freshii or Chopped Leaf. Decently clean, but I did see someone have to ask for napkins to clean their own table off before sitting. The only additional note I'll say is eating healthier is so expensive haha. Two bowls were just shy of $40.

Good Stock has become one of my favourite vegan spots in Edmonton. I've been here quite a few times…read morenow and I've never been disappointed. In fact, since they've opened, they've only gotten better. They now offer great options for catering and to-go. You can buy an entire lasagna or casserole for a really reasonable price. Great for those nights you really don't feel like cooking. My favourite menu item by far is the buffalo chickpea wrap. I love that they choose to use more natural ingredients for their food rather than opting for processed fake meats. This wrap is spicy and hearty and it comes with your choice of side. I don't think I've ever finished my meal in one sitting. The portions are very generous. My second favourite would have to be the loaded taco bowl. If you're looking for a healthier, gluten-free option, this is it! It is a taco salad on a bed of kale and basmati rice. The ground "meat" (made from walnuts) and their cashew sour cream are SO close to the real thing. Another awesome thing about Good Stock is that they make their own vegan cheese. I always end up taking a one of them to-go (the truffle one is my fave).

I ordered soup (what else do you order from a place called Good Stock?) and a bagle. Certainly the soup was hardy and it was good but not in the same league as the Prairie Soup Company. The bagle was excellent. It was covered with a generous spread of jam and the jam tasted like home made. Their menu is large and should have something to thrill most vegetarians. There are lots of tables so bring all of your veggie friends. Service was very friendly in a genuine sort of way which is certainly appreciated. If you are looking for a casual place to take your veggie friends this could be it. Did I mention that the jam was excellent?

Often the shell is hard and gets stuck in my throat & it hurts because it scratches it or something. This is the only location I've had this happen at. The rice is always either super sticky or super hard & undercooked. They use hardly any sauce & the burrito is mostly just a tortilla wrap. I recommend going to south commons Freshii which is what I do most of the time, they are much more generous with their portion of filling for the burritos and the beans never hurt my throat. It's a little annoying because it's further away but this location is just not it. Maybe just don't order the smokehouse?
