He used an unopened box of laminate, without my permission, instead of new wood to cover the rotted wood and installed laminate flooring over it. After being under severe stress to get my repairs done, and before getting estimates from other subs, I reluctantly agreed to Zelle him money for "materials and some labor". Thankfully, before he started, I had another estimate with a more reliable contractor who went ahead and purchased the materials and send me a photo of the receipt. David's "materials costs" were $600, per his proposal and $800 for labor. The better contractor showed a receipt from Lowes for $70 for ALL MATERIALS!! Additionally, the contractor I went with only charged me $400 for labor!!! I immediately requested a refund from David, which he agreed to. Two days later, no refund. I texted him a few times, didn't hear anything back. I even texted him this review, no response! I will now have to file a claim with my bank. He is a total ripoff artist, liar and hounds potential clients until you agree or block him. DO NOT HIRE HIM!! BEWARE! He did no work and isn't willingly giving me my money back! $800!!!! Crazy. He shouldn't even be on Yelp.

Unfortunately, he did not fulfill what we agreed on. I paid over $12,000, and the work was left incomplete. The units were not rent-ready, debris and trash were left throughout the property, and key items we discussed were never finished. The photos I attached show only part of the condition he left the property in. After receiving payment, Larry stopped responding and ultimately blocked me instead of taking accountability or addressing the issues. As a property owner who relied on clear communication and trust, this was extremely disappointing and costly.
