They painted over hair, food and nail holes, and did $800 worth of damage to our hardwood floor. When I called them out on it, their field manager became arrogant and condescending, canceled our remaining contract and left us to pay for the damages. Ultimately, going with other painting companies saved us a lot of money for the same quality of work. My greatest satisfaction has been knowing I've successfully turned others away from Textbook by sharing our experience with friends, family, our real estate agent and other contractors.

DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY. Their marketing practices are very…read moredeceptive. Their ads state that "the technicians at Pristine Clean are highly trained and experienced, including classroom instruction and an in-the-field apprenticeship program." They also claim that "their teams utilize eco-friendly detergents." I hired Pristine Clean to power wash my house and driveway. Right before the technician was about to begin, I learned from him that the so-called eco-friendly detergent described in their marketing materials contains chlorine bleach. I immediately stopped him from spraying the solution until I could alert my next-door neighbor to move her Mercedes-Benz, which was parked about 10 feet downwind from where he was about to start spraying. When I mentioned to the technician that a solution containing bleach is not eco-friendly and expressed concern about the impact the cleaning solution would have on my landscaping, he told me that he didn't have time to talk and that I needed to move out of the way so I would not get bleach stains on my clothes. I allowed him to complete the cleaning of the west side of the house. The smell of bleach was very strong. After he stopped spraying, I approached him again to ask a few questions. He again said that he didn't have time to talk and that I needed to "back off" or he would call in and have my job canceled. At that point, I told him to go ahead and cancel the job immediately. The company later offered to send another, more experienced technician to finish the work. I declined because I no longer trust this company due to their deceptive marketing practices and the unprofessional behavior of the technician they sent to my home. DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY.
