Yum. Strawberries the size of your fist. Not cheap but reasonable. Always at the peak of ripeness. Plan to eat within 2 days.

Many of the fruit and vegetable stands were huge, tables and table of produce. A good amount of vendors were giving out samples, anything from fruits, juices, salsas, and more! There were plenty of baked good options, almost too many to choose from. The only area that it really lacked was there weren't a ton of hot to order and eat now food vendors, but they still did have a few. The market is in the parking lot at West Valley, it was easy to find a spot a little further way from the market, while still being in the same lot. There is only one entrance/exit for the parking in that area so it can be a little hectic trying to get in and out, but actual parking was a breeze.

That being said, it's got pretty much everything you'd need and more, and every vendor sells high quality stuff, some quite unique. There are plenty of mainstays like produce vendors, a couple meat and dairy vendors, bakeries, and some rare finds like African stews, spices, mushrooms, and local kombucha. The hot food and ready-made items are really good, as well - some standouts being the Asian fusion plate lunch place, the dim sum lady, and the pupusa stand (with the hottest pickles imaginable). The layout is also intuitive with the produce in the back and the prepared food in the front. Sadly, the school no longer provides the bathrooms for use during the market so the only options are porta potties, though they're kept pretty clean. Great one-stop shop market for the area, don't sleep on this one!

With how crazy inflation has gotten for groceries, anything to save helps. There is a lot of good variety of fresh fruits and veggies here. I usually can find good prices for tomatoes, apples, onions, and other basic cooking staples here. That said, you do need to be careful when picking out your food because some items might be getting close to expiration or are going moldy or bad already. So just pick and choose diligently. The shop does get crowded after work and on weekends, so it's best to come during weekdays or earlier mornings if possible. The workers here are always nice. It's well lit inside and they usually have fresh fruits outside the door as well for you to browse before you enter the store. Overall, cool place to shop. I enjoy frequenting here when I can to grab groceries for my family!

There are lots of uncommon fruits and veggies, like fresh jujube fruits, prickly pear cactus fruits, and specialty herbs and greens. It's a great way to support local businesses and farmers, while keeping excess produce out of the landfills. The open-air market style also allows for individual selections of produce, and considerably less plastic packaging!! Don't forget your reusable bags, but if you do, they sell some and they even offer green, compostable produce bags available for any quantity you are in need of. Foothill Produce is particularly great for discount deals on ripe produce if you are keen on same-day recipes. They also have a large selection of European, Russian, Polish, Middle-Eastern, and Jewish foods (fresh and frozen). The market always has apples of almost every variety, seasonal products, fresh breads and challah, and plenty of standard groceries as well. Fingers crossed for a bountiful 2026. Everything is made fresh to order, and you can really taste the quality in every dish. I especially loved the grilled meats -- they had that perfect smoky char flavor straight from the grill. The staff were incredibly friendly and took the time to explain the different dishes and the best way to enjoy them. Beef, Kofta & Chicken: Super flavorful and packed with spices, with an amazing grilled/charred flavor. I loved being able to build my own wrap with all the different veggies and sauces! Hawawshi Traditional (Egyptian Meat Pie): Similar to arayes, but even more flavorful and juicy. It comes generously stuffed, and the arugula paired perfectly with it. Chicken Breast Bowl: OMG, the fries were so good! The chicken and fries combo worked perfectly together. The chicken had subtle hints of lime and was served over a creamy mayo-style sauce that tied everything together. Salad: Light, refreshing, and topped with onions, pickled veggies, fruit, and vinaigrette. Overall, it's such a fun and casual place to hang out. There's an outdoor patio with self-serve tea and water, and I loved the cozy lights and tent setup. I'll definitely be back!

They were nice enough to skin and cut it. But I found it was mostly bone, with desirable meaty pieces missing. The grocery store had several middle eastern products, which all looked interesting. There was also Gol persian ice cream. They had a reasonably priced food menu as well. I love the Egyptian items in the menu the most. Hawawshi is my favorite. Chicken kofta kabob skewer was good. Beef/lamb shawarma wrap was ok. It didn't have much flavor. They give a garlic sauce (Toom) as side. That is super flavorful. Everything tastes better with it. Side pickled vegetables was very flavorful too.

So you and your mom go in, and there all these tiny aisles stacked high with all types of food, especially international food. And you get to look around and pick out a bunch of cool new snacks to try and check out the entire store and it's really great. And then you go home and eat it, and you really like most of them so now you either have to find a way to buy it online or drive all the way over, but maybe it's worth it! Yes, the aisles are very narrow and perhaps customer service is not their number one priority. However, it is what it appears to be. We bought cherries, apples, peaches, apricots, cauliflower, lavash bread, vegan challah (excellent!), lettuce, spinach, etc... Everything was delicious. This store may make you feel like you visited a foreign country - it may take time to adjust to the surroundings and "culture" but it is well worth the effort.
