They are the best movers in the area. They pack everything nice and make sure nothing breaks like its their own items.

The front office worked with me to accommodate our moving date which was great and said someone would come out to do an estimate, gave me a general time frame for their arrival, and said they would call when they were on their way. As a mom with a 9 month old who has a nap schedule and a dog who barks at everyone who walks past our door, this is extremely important to me. The guy arrived without calling and I had to rush to get the dog out on his lead before he woke up my daughter. He took about 15 minutes to do the estimate, said we'd need one truck with 3 guys and overshot on the time which I expected so no biggie there. Moving day arrives; the crew had loaded maybe 3 rooms (out of 8) and kept saying they were going to need another truck multiple times to the point where my husband and I said screw it, take only the large furniture and heavy boxes and we'll move the rest on our own. 2 of the workers busted their butts while one sort of just organized the truck and then one of the guys busting his butt and the organizer bickered most of the afternoon. The third guy even came and apologized to me and my husband for having to listen to it! A chandelier was broken during the process and no offer from the company to repay us for us or anything. Then the icing on the cake was the foreman did our bill, I had a debit card and he said I had to call the office to do it and I did, at 330 in the afternoon, and the lady who does the payments had left for the day! What?! So in all the craziness of moving I couldn't remember where I had our checkbook and thought I left it at the old house. The office said I could drop it off by 5pm and the foreman said no worries we'll go to the old house with you and we'll bring the check, no extra charge for the time. Only halfway there I realized where it was and had to just stop at the bank and withdraw cash. My husband was in a separate vehicle and got there before me and told them that I had to make a stop. When I got to the old house (which was 20 minutes after my husband and I spoke so he had communicated with them that I had to stop) the foreman was on the phone asking if he should run the clock. Why did you offer to do it at no cost then try to call and ask your boss if you should run the clock? Makes no sense. All in all, it wasn't an awful experience but not worth 5 stars to me and I likely wouldn't recommend them to friends or family.

HIRE THESE GUYS! I…read morecannot say enough good stuff about Ethan and his crew! We moved at the end of October (2022) and we could. NEVER have managed it without Stonehenge Movers. I booked my appointment vía Yelp and received a confirmation within 24 hours. About 10 days later, when it became apparent that we weren't going to be ready on our original moving day, I called and asked to reschedule. Ethan accommodated me immediately and sent me a second confirmation without any hesitation. On the day of our move the gigantic truck rolled up 15 minutes ahead of schedule and the guys got to work! And damn, did they work HARD! I was only 95% ready for them so I kept packing up the last minute things while they hauled ass up and down the flight of stairs to our second floor apartment. They took one 15 minute break (No complaints from me! They deserved that, and more!) and then went back to work. At the end of FOUR HOURS the truck was packed and we were off to the new location. The guys grabbed an incredibly fast lunch in between places and were back on the job in less time than it took for Ethan to park the truck where he wanted it and have a look around. They worked for THREE MORE HOURS - again, up and down the stairs - and even took the time to make sure our boxes got to the right rooms. The whole time they worked I didn't hear a single complaint; not even an annoyed look or tone of voice. If they complained behind our backs...WHO CARES?! They kept every interaction professional and pleasant. (If our positions had been reversed I'd have been crying the whole day because I'm weak and old! ) The whole experience was great, from beginning to end. When it was done I felt like my "thank you so much" didn't even begin to express the extent of our gratitude for the amazing job they did. The final price was reasonable and we chose to tip each guy $30 for their exceptional work. In talking to someone later, I discovered that it's not typical to tip movers and all I can say is WHY NOT?! They're working their butts off and I could never have done the move without them! Definitely recommend!

U Pack / ABF did not bring the appropriate equipment (a forklift) for drop off of a pod on 08/12/22. I provided (per clause 7 in the contract) an appropriate space for the pod -- a space to park the truck and a paved area sufficient for the pod itself. ABF/UPack refused to retrieve a forklift from the neighboring town for an additional $500 cost to them. The company did NOT offer viable alternatives. The alternatives were: 1) I could find another space for the pod to be parked (ex. permitted street parking: not feasible in the circumstance), 2) I could delay the pod arrival to Monday, 08/15/22, or 3) I could load the pod over the weekend at the moving facility (I would not have reserved a pod if I knew I'd also need to reserve a moving truck). I reluctantly opted to delay the pod's arrival to Monday, as this was the only feasible option -- including working with another company given the total lack of notice ahead of time regarding the forklift situation & time sensitive nature of the move. No discount was offered for the extreme inconvenience. I was also hung up on multiple times on 8/12/22 when trying to figure out a solution with dispatch. I was treated as a chore rather than a person in a stressful situation (because of U-Pack) trying to receive service on the reservation/guarantee that U-Pack assured me (since May!). I was also informed that the company did not assess the location prior to delivery, which is a discrepancy from typical protocol. Had this happened, perhaps the company might have thought of alternative solutions ahead of 08/12/22 and reached out to me. The pod was dropped off that Monday and picked up on Wednesday. The pick up could not be delayed or else delivery by the 26th would not be guaranteed. I was told that the company would call prior to picking up the pod; They did not. A result from the delay and lack of promised communication regarding pick up: I had no time to finish packing -- half of my belongings were left out of the pod as a direct result of the negligence of U Pack. This was totally unacceptable. The onus of problem-solving was on me and the company took no responsibility for their lack of appropriate equipment and poor customer service. I have pictures of the truck, pod, contract, furniture left out, etc. I also have written records of phone and in-person conversations with date & time marked. I have included a portion of these below. This company cost me hundred to thousands of dollars in furniture replacement with no remorse or compassion. Their guarantees are meaningless, and they made a very stressful time 100x more stressful.

After we agreed on a price, things changed once he arrived. He added work without gaining approval first. In fact, we had told him in writing that the tenant might ask for more work to be done, but we were not authorizing it. He did it anyway and charged us. He was also not transparent about disposal fees until he was already on site and there wasn't much we could do about it. Not only did he lack transparency, but his overall professionalism was lacking. We had to ask, multiple times for an invoice for our records. The invoice terms stated Net 30 but he began harassing us to pay the invoice via text and email within hours of sending the invoice.
