First I had lunch in the food court. You know what they say, don't go grocery shopping on an empty stomach! I went up and down every isle. I mostly bought international snacks, like chips, choco pies and croissants. Other purchases included Thai tea bags, jackfruit and a black pepper sauce. I love Thai tea and wanted to be able to stay home and make it instead of going to a restaurant. And bonus, it will save me money too! I also purchased some green peppermint tea and snacks to take to a friend. They were setting up for the second Saturday night market in the parking lot which includes authentic food from the Philippines, Thailand, Korea, Cambodia, and Vietnam. I'll be back with friends for the night market!

It's got lots of things you may not expect a grocery store to have: Souvenirs, sunscreen, stuffed animals, etc. It also has at least one thing you might not even expect an island grocery store to stock, whether or not you consider it to be an oxymoron: Vegan cheese. It's basically got all the things we've got at home.
