I came in originally for a hidden helix on my left ear a few weeks ago. I got a double helix piercing by Holly a few months ago, and loving the service/staff/everything, I came back. After discussing with Holly about my desire, she told me that the shape of my ear would not permit the new helix to be "hidden," but that the back would be visible from the front. I totally appreciate her honesty, because I know I would NOT have been happy with that outcome! Holly suggested some alternative piercing locations, and I went with a flat piercing. I am really happy with how it looks Additionally, I had a medical procedure done before my piercings had healed up, and Holly was able to get me some plastic posts in that day. I came back the next day to have Shy put the earrings back. Everybody there is always so helpful and nice, it's very refreshing! I've had several great experiences at this shop over the years, especially with Victoria, who has always been kind, professional, and made me feel comfortable. Unfortunately, my most recent experience was completely different. I came in for a consultation and quote for my first larger tattoo, and I was paired with Casper. From the beginning, he came across as dismissive and condescending. Instead of helping me explore my idea, he made me feel like my design wasn't good enough and left me feeling embarrassed for asking questions. As someone getting their first large piece, I was looking for guidance, not to feel judged. He also wasn't able to provide a clear price range, which I understand can sometimes be difficult, but the way the conversation was handled made the whole experience feel unwelcoming. It honestly gave me the impression that if you're not already heavily tattooed or part of the "tattoo crowd," you're not taken seriously. The interaction left such a bad impression that I decided not to move forward with him. It was especially disappointing because I've always had such positive experiences at this shop before. I truly hope this feedback is taken constructively, because customer service and making people feel comfortable are just as important as artistic talent. read more

I'm updating the review I had left before because the owner was very nice and actually took the time to fix something that one of the other artist there didn't deliver on. He made me wait at least 2 months to get in, but I understand now the reason behind it given the other work I have gotten that didn't require as much of an effort touching up versus this. This was a lot of color he packed in and my skin wasn't fully healed yet either. Granted he did it and fixed it where it looks a lot better and more flowy with what I have. I didn't know the artist was the owner until today, but the point is that he understands as an artist himself. It is hard to envision something and trust someone then break that trust easily by not really understanding what the person wanted or just going and doing whatever. But I can say that he did his best to match the inspiration that I gave him. Nothing will ever be 100% exactly like the photos you bring. That's anywhere. Even on a print. So I can understand this especially dealing with skin, just know that I respect that the business didn't just ghost me or said eh who cares. They did end up reaching back out and fixing something that didn't have to be as nice as this to be honest. I want to apologize if it seemed rude at first but I like transparency always and I wasn't very happy with the previous artist whom I still do no recommend but it's okay because there's many artist that may work for you and not me and everybody's different. Just do your research with who you trust and just have communication throughout. Thank you for bringing more color in this area. I also appreciate the blue touch up that the other artist also did but didn't touch up either. I genuinely have not met many people that care about their reputation of their business like Landon. Stay away! On November 2nd, I talked to an artist and gave them a $65 deposit. Now, two months later, I still haven't received any artwork or proofs and communication has completely stopped. I called the owner to ask for a refund. She said "no" because the deposits are non refundable. I understand a non refundable policy for someone changing their mind or getting cold feet. But when someone represents your business, takes a deposit, quits and never communicates any of that with the customer, that's just bad business. The business owner should always protect their customers when they got ripped off by one of their own. So, be aware that if you go there, give them money and your artist decides they just want to keep your money for whatever reason and pretend you never existed, you've been warned. Any business owner who is willing to sacrifice a bad review from shady ethics and a lack of logical common sense over $65 is a very bad business owner. You have been warned. read more

My mother in law took my daughter and niece here to get their doubles! Everyone was so great and inviting. The sweet lady who pierced them was very thorough and measured to make sure everything was perfect. The apprentice that was in the room was great too! Best shop in the area by FAR! I've been tatted and pierced here multiple times by different piercers and artists and they exceed my expectations every time! When I've come in for piercings last minute there's been a few times I've had to wait almost an hour BUT the piercers I've had work efficiently and they got to me and everyone else so fast and friendly!!! I also understood waiting since their walk in system is first come first serve but waiting isn't bad when there's a cute coffee shop next door and many restaurants in the area and they will even text you when they're ready for you, woo-hoo!!! I was super excited to get two tattoos done by Mea, but when I arrived for my appointment the receptionist informed me she had already left for the day due to a family emergency. I completely understand things happen and I declined coming in later that day as I wanted her to have time to focus on the situation. I just wish someone would have notified me before I drove an hour down to the shop. Additionally, the receptionist took my name and number saying she would call and reschedule but I never heard back from anyone. :/ Update: Owner responded to this and said I would be contacted soon. I got my nipples pierced here, and they seemed fine at first! but one of them began to embed, and when i went back to the shop to have the guy who pierced me look at it, he tried to blame me for it becoming irritated and embedded by trying to convince me i had bumped it or snagged it on something, which i did neither. he changed the jewelry to a longer bar and bigger balls and sent me on my way, but a month later it's still irritated and embedding so i went to another piercer who informed me that he had pierced it through my areola, explaining the tremendous pain and swelling. terrible experience and i will not be coming back. save your money read more

horrible horrible horrible.. we got there to get a piercing after I called before leaving the house and confirmed availability, we get there at 8:40, I overhear the lady who does the piercings telling someone shes refusing to do her services on her after the girl begs her and reminds her numerous times she's already had it done before she agrees that she will do the piercing for her... next while I'm doing my paperwork which takes five minutes to do we continue to wait for almost an hour once she gets up there and done with the people ahead of us she then decides to tell me she can't do the services on us that we're requesting so I said, well can you at least change my earring for me since I waited here an hour wouldn't do that either and then just said shes just gonna completely be refusing service to us because she doesn't like the vibe.
