I love this because its not people just out to make money and leave your hair damaged!! Paulina was knowledgable and very skilled. My color and cut are great!! Shiny and I feel new again. The salon itself is really cute. Has a great style to it. The owner Camille introduced herself immediately. The other women are friendly and warm. Thanks Paulina - I will be back!

I trust her with everything - even doing my extensions and wedding hair for me and my bridesmaids which she absolutely nailed. Jordan recently started to offer scalp therapy sessions and I couldn't be happier. I had been looking for a treatment like this in the area and couldn't find anything so when Jordan decided to open the scalp therapy I couldn't wait and booked immediately. This was amazing and relaxing. I booked the 50 minute session - She does a specific scrub / wash followed by the massage which was excellent, then a final wash. The room she does it in is also very well decorated and promotes a relaxing vibe along with the music. I would suggest coming in warm comfy clothes so you can drift off to sleep during the session. My hair has never felt better! I will definitely be coming back for more! Thank you Jordan!

I cannot sing the praises of Blew enough!! I was looking for a hair stylist for my wedding on April…read more19th, 2014 and was lucky enough to receive Marc's name from Sarah Giggar of Giggar Makeup Artistry. I booked a trial hair appointment with Marc and sat in his chair, armed with a few pinterest ideas that I had tagged earlier on. Marc listened to my ideas and created a fantastic up-do that was everything I wanted. He perfected the style during a second trial and I knew I had to have him and his assistant Courtney for my big day!! They arrived bang on time with a plethora of hair gadgets and started working on my four bridesmaids, mother and mother in law. It was a fun filled Gaga infused morning that helped shape for the way for an unforgettable day. Everyone loved Marc & Courtney and they created fantastic hairstyles that showcased the individual styles of all the women. I knew we were in safe hands and cannot thank the both of them enough for their hard work, patience and tremendous talent. I felt like a beautiful bride and would recommend Marc Rolleri and the Blew Salon to every bride or woman looking for a fantastic stylist. I will be returning to the Salon very soon for a haircut and my sister has already declared Courtney her new stylist! Thank you, again!

The first time I went to Blew was July after not having my hair cut for a while. My normal salon…read morefor the last 5 years is in West Haven, and looking for a new/closer to home salon where I could also easily go for a bang trim while saving on gas money would be ideal. Based on reviews, I actually wanted Marc to cut my hair but he wasn't taking new clients, instead he set me up with Christine. I have long fine (yet full) wavy hair to my middle/lower back. I am very specific how I like my bangs cut, and always show pictures. I was also careful to explain how I didn't like too much cut, I always keep my hair long with a few very long layers for movement. The trim was fine, but the bangs weren't really how I wanted them, so I went back 2 weeks later for an adjustment. They weren't perfect but better. Fast forward 2 weeks ago, I go for another trim (an inch) the long layers dusted so I would have more volume and a bang trim/shape, again with a picture or 2 (of the Instagram influencer whose bangs I love). They looked ok yet again not what I asked for when I left. I went back AGAIN to have them adjusted again showing the same pictures. When I washed my hair 2 days later I realized what a horrible CHOP JOB Christine did-the sides are now completely uneven, worst of all not only my bangs but the side of my head by my EARS!!-those pieces were long (middle of my neck at least) and blended in from bangs on down when I walked in. NOW I HAVE TUFTS OF HAIR THAT STICK OUT ON THE SIDES AND THERE IS NO WAY TO FIX THIS FOR MONTHS UNTIL I GROW THEM OUT!!! Thanks Christine for the ridiculous side burns I now have wearing a baseball cap, or any hat Fall into Winter! Great look. A master stylist with "years of experience"?? I was really upset the last few days, now I'm livid. Thank heavens I hadn't make an appointment to have my color done like I enquired on my last hair appointment, I'd probably leave looking like a zebra. Its a shame, because while she is super nice, the salon is cozy & 10 minutes from my house, I am paying for a service, and its the service/cut that falls way short. I would never allow her to touch my hair again. PS the last photo is the one I have shown Christine FOUR TIMES of how I wanted my bangs to look!!

30 Years Later, Diane Still Takes Pride in Every Haircut!…read more Diane has been cutting my hair for over 30 years, and there is something about her that has never changed. After every haircut, she steps back, looks at her work in the mirror, and smiles. You can actually see the genuine pride and satisfaction on her face. It's almost as though she's experiencing the excitement of a job well done for the very first time. What amazes me is that after all these years, she still has that same enthusiasm, passion, and attention to detail. She doesn't just cut hair. She takes pride in making people look and feel their best. After 30 years, I still enjoy watching that smile of satisfaction. To me, that says everything about someone who truly loves what they do. Thank you, Diane, for 30 years of great haircuts and for never losing that passion!
