I booked a trial hair appointment with Marc and sat in his chair, armed with a few pinterest ideas that I had tagged earlier on. Marc listened to my ideas and created a fantastic up-do that was everything I wanted. He perfected the style during a second trial and I knew I had to have him and his assistant Courtney for my big day!! They arrived bang on time with a plethora of hair gadgets and started working on my four bridesmaids, mother and mother in law. It was a fun filled Gaga infused morning that helped shape for the way for an unforgettable day. Everyone loved Marc & Courtney and they created fantastic hairstyles that showcased the individual styles of all the women. I knew we were in safe hands and cannot thank the both of them enough for their hard work, patience and tremendous talent. I felt like a beautiful bride and would recommend Marc Rolleri and the Blew Salon to every bride or woman looking for a fantastic stylist. I will be returning to the Salon very soon for a haircut and my sister has already declared Courtney her new stylist! Thank you, again!

My normal salon…read morefor the last 5 years is in West Haven, and looking for a new/closer to home salon where I could also easily go for a bang trim while saving on gas money would be ideal. Based on reviews, I actually wanted Marc to cut my hair but he wasn't taking new clients, instead he set me up with Christine. I have long fine (yet full) wavy hair to my middle/lower back. I am very specific how I like my bangs cut, and always show pictures. I was also careful to explain how I didn't like too much cut, I always keep my hair long with a few very long layers for movement. The trim was fine, but the bangs weren't really how I wanted them, so I went back 2 weeks later for an adjustment. They weren't perfect but better. Fast forward 2 weeks ago, I go for another trim (an inch) the long layers dusted so I would have more volume and a bang trim/shape, again with a picture or 2 (of the Instagram influencer whose bangs I love). They looked ok yet again not what I asked for when I left. I went back AGAIN to have them adjusted again showing the same pictures. When I washed my hair 2 days later I realized what a horrible CHOP JOB Christine did-the sides are now completely uneven, worst of all not only my bangs but the side of my head by my EARS!!-those pieces were long (middle of my neck at least) and blended in from bangs on down when I walked in. NOW I HAVE TUFTS OF HAIR THAT STICK OUT ON THE SIDES AND THERE IS NO WAY TO FIX THIS FOR MONTHS UNTIL I GROW THEM OUT!!! Thanks Christine for the ridiculous side burns I now have wearing a baseball cap, or any hat Fall into Winter! Great look. A master stylist with "years of experience"?? I was really upset the last few days, now I'm livid. Thank heavens I hadn't make an appointment to have my color done like I enquired on my last hair appointment, I'd probably leave looking like a zebra. Its a shame, because while she is super nice, the salon is cozy & 10 minutes from my house, I am paying for a service, and its the service/cut that falls way short. At the end of the service, it was noticed that my roots didn't match the rest of my hair vibrancy (it's ginger so not shocking). Instead of letting me walk out of the salon, they offered to do my whole head so I matched. They took extra time on a busy Saturday to make sure I had the best look walking out the door. As someone who has a role where my look matters, they've found a client for life. You cannot find better quality, service or professionals. Every time I come, I feel pampered and special.

The girl who took my call patiently listened and then recommended Christina. Still hesitant I made appointment. When I went into Z Color Bar the atmosphere was beautiful. I was greeted immediately. Christina came right over- she is not only beautiful but so nice and comforting! ( I can also say- her hair looked great!) She totally took her time- went thru my hair looking at it- did not seem worried at all. She had already been told of my hair issue and had a plan already thought of!!! Great made an appointment came in and Nakia did her thing. She cut layers ( I never had before) & blowdried my hair and it looked great. The test was still to come - me doing my hair! Happy to say I can blow dry my hair with my head upside down. No styling no curling just blowing heat and when dry I flip it back in place and I L-O-V-E IT!!! So easy and it looks like it has all this body when in actuality it's plain ole poker straight. So yes *****s because Nakia gave me a great haircut and that was my purpose for going to Luna.
