For those of you who love your barrumundi, they go for $34.90/kg. I found snapper fillets going for $29.90/kg and boneless swordfish going for $29.90. I put a lot of pressure on the revolving restaurant as I choose to go there with my boyfriend for our six month anniversary (he surprised me by saying we were going somewhere 'revolutionary'. Lame but cute.) We were greeted by a waiter with a very French accent and shown to a table. We were given a menu and some table water and had the napkins delicately placed across our laps. And then we proceeded to sit there for half an hour while no one came back to take our order and I actually had to flag someone done. This unfortunately became the theme of the evening, the service was exceptional, when you got it, which for us was hardly ever. When our order was taken there was a mix up in the kitchen and our mains arrived before our entrée which lead to more waiting. When the oysters arrived they were piping hot and very good which can also be said for the main courses of fancy surf and turf and the braised lamb shanks. The revolving part is great as it offers a wonderful view of Adelaide and the beach, and is especially nice when the sun goes down and the lights come out. However, it is only the outside of the dining room that moves (not the bar or the kitchen in the middle) so it can become very disorientating when you get up to pay or want to go to the toilet because the toilets that were on your left aren't there anymore and won't be for another half hour. We received several apologies regarding the poor quality of service we received and we weren't charged for our entrée which we were grateful for. Overall the bad service probably was just a one off but with prices way out of the range University students can afford, we won't be rushing back.
