Electric blue under lighting, white shiplap walls, rattan pendant lights as the Eagles Desperado softly plays, and I know this is my vibe. Add a simple seafood menu and perfect service by Monica, and I am all in on this dining experience. Relaxing, Coastal, just what you need after a long work week. Dining perfection awaits you at Fresh Catch....

Jam smash burger (secret menu)

Came upon this place on our drive down to Broward. We sat at the bar. The service was great! Friendly, great recommendations and accommodating. The jam burger was delicious. I subbed in a side of the brussel caesar and it was fresh and full of flavor. My boyfriend got the blackened grouper sandwich. It was thick and very fresh. It was a little less blackening than we would think but good flavor. The fresh cut sweet potato fries were a perfect addition. We will definitely make our way back the next time we're in the area!

We were shopping in the area and decided to check out Fresh Catch. It looked nice from the outside, though I did notice the parking lot was pretty empty for a Friday evening. We arrived around 7:30 PM. Inside, it was quiet but clean. The chef was casually chatting with the hostess, and we were seated right away. Once taken to the back, we saw that the restaurant was nearly empty. Our waitress was bubbly and enthusiastic. I don't remember her name, but she had a blonde pixie cut and brought a refreshing energy to the experience. I originally ordered the scallops, but they were out for the day, so I pivoted to the Tuscan chicken pasta. It wasn't my first choice, and overall, the menu didn't really draw me in. We also ordered the truffle fries, crab cakes, and shrimp Mediterranean. The truffle fries were okay, nothing bad to say but nothing special either. The crab cakes tasted like they had filler, and the risotto in the shrimp Mediterranean was cooked a bit too soft, bordering on mushy. On the bright side, the Tuscan chicken pasta was flavorful and the chicken was tender. The food took longer than expected. Just as I started wondering where it was, it finally arrived. Given how empty the place was, I expected quicker service. That's definitely an area of opportunity for the kitchen. The Caesar salad was also just okay. The dressing was a bit bland and didn't stand out. Overall, I'd give this experience a 3. I didn't leave completely disappointed, but I can't say I'd return or feel excited to try something else on the menu. The staff was very friendly, and that's what saved the experience from being rated lower.

Sure are glad we made it to Fresh Catch Inland! The food was phenomenal; our server Carrie coupled with our bartender Jennifer made our experience with our friend's 2nd to none! Great Happy Hours Specials! Jennifer makes the best of the best Martini's in the area! The ambiance is spot on for the area! Outside dining too! It is one of our new go-to places in Estero!!

Very nice location in Coconut Point shopping center. This location has housed several different restaurants, but this one seems more upscale. They did a great job renovating the place, it's got a clean crisp feel. Plenty of service staff and our waitress was super attentive. It's all about seafood. Menu is simple, offering a mix of basics, Wahoo, Grouper, Shrimp, etc cooked as you like it. As well, they offer some nice signature dishes, seafood and chicken and sandwiches. Nice wine list as well. Overall it was on the pricier side, but a good night had by one and all.

Erica is a top notch server who takes the time to remember her patrons and what they drink. Ethan has a signature coconut mojito that my husband (who hates coconut and i who hate mojitos) were able to agree was incredible and worth drinking again. The steak flat bread, coconut shrimp, and Keylime pie are always spot on. The corn dip must also be awesome cause I hear everyone ordering it all the time. If you can sit at the bar, you get to enjoy the staffs incredible interaction with each other. It genuinely looks like they all enjoy working here which speaks volumes to the management. Mike is non stop bustling in the kitchen to push out the great food in a timely fashion as his bar staff positively greet patrons and keep the ambiance fun and entertaining. Happy hour is 3-5. It is self seating and I highly encourage you get a table while someone stands in line to order food which will be delivered to you. There is also often live music. Great place to hang out on a beautiful sunny day

I placed an online pickup order through the Tommy Bahama Marlin Bar website at 12:32 PM using their…read morepreferred ordering platform, ChowNow. The order was prepaid and included a 20% gratuity. After parking and walking to the restaurant, I received a text message at 12:47 PM stating that my order had been canceled and refunded because the restaurant could not make the order. Assuming this must have been an error, I still went inside and waited in line to explain what had happened. When I reached the counter and calmly explained the situation, several staff members immediately chimed in saying things like "I was watching and no orders came through." At that point it became clear that the order likely had not been acknowledged on their end and was automatically canceled after 15 minutes. Despite the fact that the order had been placed directly through the restaurant's own website and had already been prepaid with gratuity, there was no apology and no effort to resolve the situation by making the order. Instead, the staff member at the register told me that "ChowNow always doesn't work" and that I should have called the restaurant instead. That response was surprising considering the order was placed through their official website, which directs customers to use that exact system. I asked to speak with a manager and was told to step out of line. When the manager arrived, the interaction unfortunately got worse. Before I could finish explaining the situation, he interrupted with "Are you going to let me talk now?" and proceeded to repeat that none of this was the restaurant's fault. There was still no apology and no attempt to remedy the situation by simply preparing the order that had already been placed. What made the experience particularly disappointing is that this location has been one I've visited many times over the years. Mistakes happen in any business, and an online ordering system failure is understandable. What is not understandable is the complete lack of basic customer service and the unwillingness of management to take ownership of the problem or attempt to fix it. A simple apology and an offer to make the order would have resolved the entire situation. Instead, the response from both staff and management was dismissive and defensive. Unfortunately, that interaction has turned what had been a frequently visited restaurant into one I will not be returning to.

There were four parts to this visit. I'm going to call them "movements."…read more Movement #1 - - Arrive. Greeted. Checking the place out. There are couches and tables, outdoor seating options, and the traditional bar like one would get at a sports pub. There are board games and and other items to tinker with. Seems like a cool place. Bartender immediately interacts and helps me to understand Kava, Kratom, and give me and overall orientation of the menu. Movement #2 - - We are given a sample of the Kava in traditional bowls on the house. The bartender has one with us. We talk about the flavor and remark on our numb tongues. Then we order drinks and settle into conversation. I had the Kratom with Mango Habanero Kombucka mixed in. It's good. Slowly my drink disappears. Eventually, The bartender remarks about the empty glass. I say I'll go for another one. Just like the first. Movement #3 - - Where's my second drink? Apparently, after confirming that he would make me a second drink, the bartender completely forgot. A couple of his friends came in and he took a seat next to them, only getting up to help a person who came in. I slurped my empty glass any time he walked by. Nothing. It was a bummer. Movement #4 - - I set my money on the counter and waited...and waited. Finally we flagged down the guy and asked how we paid. We had to walk down the length of the bar and pay him at the end. Couldn't just take my cash at the bar?!? Weird.
