They also sell an assortment of Arabic ingredients for cooking in the restaurant as well. The food is Lebanese, but they put their own unique twist on it. Started with an excellent appetizer platter with Baba Ghanoush, Humus, Tabouleh, Dolmades, and Mudardara lentil-rice-onion mix. Chicken Shawarmah and the Upside Down Beef n Rice special were both great, and we ordered a large tabbouleh to go for lunch tomorrow. For drinks, Almaza is a top Lebanese beer they have. I also tried a hazy IPA Headhunter from Fat Head's Brewing. A key benefit is the food is all-natural. We overheard the server describing that point, and found that their oils are Olive Oil for salads, Avocado oil and coconut oil for cooking. NO seed oils. And no cans so no EDTA stabilizer or other toxic preservatives, just real food. Highly recommend this when in the Tampa area. We'll be back read more

Still one of my favorite places to eat. My husband says I nod my head when I'm enjoying good food. I'm basically a bobble head while eating food from here. My dad is in town so I've been sending him different places to grab take out for us. This is one of those places and my favorite of all of them. Here's what we got and what I thought. Pasture Raised Lamb Kafta Kabab Plate - so my go to has always been the Baba Ganous Ma Lahme, but this may have that one beat. The lamb was so tender (I actually cut it with a spoon) and so flavorful. Also, I'm usually not a fan of hummus, but this one was so good that I may get it as an appetizer next time. The salad that it comes with is also delicious. Baba Ganouj Ma Lahme - this never disappoints. I love their baba ganouj and same as above, the salad was delicious. I actually also got an appetizer of baba ganouj, which I would probably switch out for hummus if I get the baba ganouj mah lahme next time, just because it was a lot of bab ganouj. That being said, their baba ganouj is delicious. We also got an appetizer of grape leaves. This one wasn't my favorite, it was a little too tart for my taste buds with minimal filling, but I think this is just my own taste and I don't doubt that others would love it. Yes, their dishes are a little more expensive, but it's because of the quality. I can seriously taste the quality in every bite. That's worth the slightly higher prices to me. I haven't picked up in a while, but when I did the women working the register (who I assume are the daughters of the owner) are always a delight. They are so personable that you can just tell this place is locally owned and operated. There's some restaurants that you really root for and for me, this is one of them. read more

Today was my first time dining in at Fresh Bites after years of ordering from the restaurant. To say that I had a great time is an understatement. The Restuarant is quite quaint with a sprawling chalkboard menu, and Lebanese music that went a good way in relaxing me. Lebanese Lemonade: Richly fruity, balanced sweetness, and light lemon zestfulness, best lemonade I've ever had and like everything here, fresh and homemade. Lamb Rice Special: Sliced lamb over a bed of rice and accompanied by refreshing tiger slaw. Glad I was able to try the special it didn't disappoint especially because lamb is my favorite meat. Lamb Cofta: Soft and rich lamb patty paired with fluffy peta bread, hummus and sweet potato. Make yourself a rap and fall in love with flavor and texture, me and my mom's fav dish. Baklava: Unlike most Baklava this one is light, just as sweet but easier to eat making it more appealing and made for a great dessert. As for service, the restaurant is family owned and they were the sweetest people, our server Dianna made us feel like we were at home and her mom who cooks was very accommodating to us as well. Overall If I could give this place more than 5 stars I would do so a hundred time, if you come here or order from here you will not regret it. I know one thing for sure, I'm definitely coming back. Pros: the decor in this family owned business is so cute and the ambiance is so nice in there. It just feels like what I imagine Olive Garden tries to emulate like it just felt so nice being in there. The staff was also super nice and accommodating. She saw us walk in with backpacks and asked if we wanted seats near an outlet so we could work. They were all so nice and friendly it was a very welcoming atmosphere. Cons: sad to say but the food is quite mid, and feels like it caters to maybe a more Caucasian palate. We got the falafel wrap which felt more like a 'healthy eats/Fresh Kitchen' vibe than a real Mediterranean vibe. The hummus was decent though. Not sure I would return unless I wanted a nice place to study and eat at the same time. Definitely preferable to spending $6 on a sandwich at Starbucks to eat n study. read more

Pasture-raised, local, wild-caught, organic... these are the buzzwords that will get me excited to try a new place! I'm a big proponent of focusing on how I feel after a meal, because food can be tasty but doesn't always sit right and that will affect my opinion of the food. I ate half the lamb wrap and 2 of the pieces of falafel and felt satiated but not stuffed. I really enjoyed the wrap and ended up eating the second half for dinner. Part of me wishes there was more meat, but I think that's only because I split it in half. It would have been plenty if I ate it all in one sitting, which I probably would have done if I didn't have the falafel too. I liked the falafel, though I'd get something else as a side next time because it wasn't my favorite in the city. It was a dense falafel, not as fluffy or flavorful on the inside as I typically prefer. I felt completely energized after my meal though, no sluggishness or lethargy. And after refrigerating part 2 of the wrap and eating it cold...it was still SO good. I wish I knew how to make lamb like that!!! read more

My dad and I stopped in this place on a whim and I'm so glad we did! We first got the hummus which was phenomenal! Very fresh and authentic. My dad get the beef shawarma plate and it was delicious especially the dressing they use on the salad. I went to fresh bites with a friend and we experienced authentic Lebanese cuisine that did not disappoint. The menu was full of fresh options it took us a while to order. After one of the regular customers insisted we try the lamb we decided on lamb kaftah wraps. They were very filling even though I opted not to get sweet potatoes in mine. The owner did explain that they were no longer offering the free drink with a Yelp check-in but she did through in some free sweet baked molasses. We gulped our food down and chatted for nearly a hour. While seated they kept our glasses of delicious mint tea full. I will certainly return to try out some more cuisine. read more

First I'll start off by saying the staff was very friendly and the place has great energy- very welcoming and comfortable so they get an extra point for that. The falafel in my wrap was very dry... so not pleasant to eat, and the flavors were lacking-- definitely could have used more tzatziki sauce in the wrap. The baklava did not have very much filling and the top consisted of several layers of phyllo stacked together which made it very dry- the flavor was good though.
