Delicious and fast fresh food from Lebanon. Come in for something different culturally.

This is my favorite restaurant!!! The food is absolutely delicious and healthy. They only use healthy quality ingredients. They also sell an assortment of Arabic ingredients for cooking in the restaurant as well. The food is Lebanese, but they put their own unique twist on it. This is a family business and they are all so friendly. Every time I stop in they treat my son and I like family. I always get a great meal and great service! I cannot recommend this place enough. read more

Delicious Lebanese food. Great service! Wonderful ambiance. My wife and I shared the vegan hummus plate and the green salad with an additional order of falafel. It was the best falafel that I've ever had, and I've been a vegetarian for 20+ years! The rice and lentils with the plate were delicious with a cinnamon twist that was a lovely surprise. The baba ganoush and hummus were garlicky and scrumptious. The greens were perfectly seasoned! Highly recommended! read more

This place was fireee I cannot lie, I am not too familiar with Lebanese food but it was very fresh and flavorful. I love organic and clean foods and this place hit the spot for sure! Friendly service as well :) read more

Family owned excellent quality food probably one of the cleanest places I've been to. Mediterranean food that is moderately priced for such a high-quality food. Ask for Melissa and Diana. Like family! read more

Started with an excellent appetizer platter with Baba Ghanoush, Humus, Tabouleh, Dolmades, and Mudardara lentil-rice-onion mix. Chicken Shawarmah and the Upside Down Beef n Rice special were both great, and we ordered a large tabbouleh to go for lunch tomorrow. For drinks, Almaza is a top Lebanese beer they have. I also tried a hazy IPA Headhunter from Fat Head's Brewing. A key benefit is the food is all-natural. We overheard the server describing that point, and found that their oils are Olive Oil for salads, Avocado oil and coconut oil for cooking. NO seed oils. And no cans so no EDTA stabilizer or other toxic preservatives, just real food. Highly recommend this when in the Tampa area. We'll be back read more

Still one of my favorite places to eat. My husband says I nod my head when I'm enjoying good food. I'm basically a bobble head while eating food from here. My dad is in town so I've been sending him different places to grab take out for us. This is one of those places and my favorite of all of them. Here's what we got and what I thought. Pasture Raised Lamb Kafta Kabab Plate - so my go to has always been the Baba Ganous Ma Lahme, but this may have that one beat. The lamb was so tender (I actually cut it with a spoon) and so flavorful. Also, I'm usually not a fan of hummus, but this one was so good that I may get it as an appetizer next time. The salad that it comes with is also delicious. Baba Ganouj Ma Lahme - this never disappoints. I love their baba ganouj and same as above, the salad was delicious. I actually also got an appetizer of baba ganouj, which I would probably switch out for hummus if I get the baba ganouj mah lahme next time, just because it was a lot of bab ganouj. That being said, their baba ganouj is delicious. We also got an appetizer of grape leaves. This one wasn't my favorite, it was a little too tart for my taste buds with minimal filling, but I think this is just my own taste and I don't doubt that others would love it. Yes, their dishes are a little more expensive, but it's because of the quality. I can seriously taste the quality in every bite. That's worth the slightly higher prices to me. I haven't picked up in a while, but when I did the women working the register (who I assume are the daughters of the owner) are always a delight. They are so personable that you can just tell this place is locally owned and operated. There's some restaurants that you really root for and for me, this is one of them. read more

First taste. We both chose Shawarma Chicken. You will not be disappointed. Healthy, flavorful & absolutely delicious. We live in Waterchase and had no idea this hidden gem was next door to 7/11 for 14yrs. We've lived in WC for 23! We also had two of their different house salads. AMAZING FLAVOR TOO! Trendy & nutritious. The service was polite & welcoming. No complaints. Come check them out! We can't wait to bring all of our friends here. read more

Just wanted to update my review. The food quality and service still remain top notch in my book. I recently tried their White Cabbage Salad after seeing it being served to another customer. OMG. That has easily become my favorite salad! My other favorites are: - The Vegan Plate - Pasture Raised Lamb Kafta Kabab Plate - Chicken Shawarma Plate - Wild Caught Fisherman's Treat - Hummus - Baba Ghanouj - Falafel Don't forget that everything is made from scratch with high-quality, clean ingredients! read more

Today was my first time dining in at Fresh Bites after years of ordering from the restaurant. To say that I had a great time is an understatement. The Restuarant is quite quaint with a sprawling chalkboard menu, and Lebanese music that went a good way in relaxing me. Lebanese Lemonade: Richly fruity, balanced sweetness, and light lemon zestfulness, best lemonade I've ever had and like everything here, fresh and homemade. Lamb Rice Special: Sliced lamb over a bed of rice and accompanied by refreshing tiger slaw. Glad I was able to try the special it didn't disappoint especially because lamb is my favorite meat. Lamb Cofta: Soft and rich lamb patty paired with fluffy peta bread, hummus and sweet potato. Make yourself a rap and fall in love with flavor and texture, me and my mom's fav dish. Baklava: Unlike most Baklava this one is light, just as sweet but easier to eat making it more appealing and made for a great dessert. As for service, the restaurant is family owned and they were the sweetest people, our server Dianna made us feel like we were at home and her mom who cooks was very accommodating to us as well. Overall If I could give this place more than 5 stars I would do so a hundred time, if you come here or order from here you will not regret it. I know one thing for sure, I'm definitely coming back. Resounding 5/5 read more

From the calming ambiance to the kindness and hospitality of the owners, the food was probably the best middle eastern cuisine we have had and we were absolutely delighted by this experience. We will absolutely be back here. read more

Pros: the decor in this family owned business is so cute and the ambiance is so nice in there. It just feels like what I imagine Olive Garden tries to emulate like it just felt so nice being in there. The staff was also super nice and accommodating. She saw us walk in with backpacks and asked if we wanted seats near an outlet so we could work. They were all so nice and friendly it was a very welcoming atmosphere. Cons: sad to say but the food is quite mid, and feels like it caters to maybe a more Caucasian palate. We got the falafel wrap which felt more like a 'healthy eats/Fresh Kitchen' vibe than a real Mediterranean vibe. The hummus was decent though. Not sure I would return unless I wanted a nice place to study and eat at the same time. Definitely preferable to spending $6 on a sandwich at Starbucks to eat n study. read more

Pasture-raised, local, wild-caught, organic... these are the buzzwords that will get me excited to try a new place! I'm a big proponent of focusing on how I feel after a meal, because food can be tasty but doesn't always sit right and that will affect my opinion of the food. I ate half the lamb wrap and 2 of the pieces of falafel and felt satiated but not stuffed. I really enjoyed the wrap and ended up eating the second half for dinner. Part of me wishes there was more meat, but I think that's only because I split it in half. It would have been plenty if I ate it all in one sitting, which I probably would have done if I didn't have the falafel too. I liked the falafel, though I'd get something else as a side next time because it wasn't my favorite in the city. It was a dense falafel, not as fluffy or flavorful on the inside as I typically prefer. I felt completely energized after my meal though, no sluggishness or lethargy. And after refrigerating part 2 of the wrap and eating it cold...it was still SO good. I wish I knew how to make lamb like that!!! read more

Favorite place to eat. Food is fresh, clean, but most importantly the owner and her family are the best!

Fresh Bites is family owned and operated Lebanese restaurant quietly serving healthy and high quality food for a large group of loyal patrons. In fact Fresh Bites started by Samir and Anissa Khalife in 2012 when they were unable to find a restaurant that served quality and fresh Lebanese food in the general area. Fresh Bites prides itself in using produce that are either Non-GMO, organic, and local whenever possible. The pride and care Samir and Anissa put into every dish shows in the freshness amd taste in every bite. Each dish is prepared fresh upon order, so your order will come out warm and fresh. The salads are crunchy and always have the perfect mix of the tangy dressing. The Hummus is perfectly balanced mix of Tahini, Chic Peas. The Baba Ganouj is never overpowering of the eggplant but a smooth blend that bring flavor explosion with each bite when paired with Pita. The wraps are always rolled and slightly warmed for satisfying hold and eating pleasure. They also have vegan options. They are always happy to tweak your order to your presence. The house lemonade is addictive amd a must try. It's made fresh with organic sugar and Lebanese floral water. The atmosphere is that of a warm family welcome, where you feel welcomed just like a family member. Queue the Cheers theme song "... where everybody knows your name..." Fresh Bites easily is a top contender of Lebanese cuisine in Tampa. They are consistent with their quality, very reasonably priced, have a family friendly atmosphere, and are always happy to see you come back. It's the perfect trifecta of the best of the best. read more

I went to fresh bites with a friend and we experienced authentic Lebanese cuisine that did not disappoint. The menu was full of fresh options it took us a while to order. After one of the regular customers insisted we try the lamb we decided on lamb kaftah wraps. They were very filling even though I opted not to get sweet potatoes in mine. The owner did explain that they were no longer offering the free drink with a Yelp check-in but she did through in some free sweet baked molasses. We gulped our food down and chatted for nearly a hour. While seated they kept our glasses of delicious mint tea full. I will certainly return to try out some more cuisine. read more

Not too many middle eastern options in town, so was excited to try Fresh Bites. Small and seemingly family ran. Waiter was friendly and helpful. Inviting plates but food was underwhelming and not on par with the Lebanese food in Detroit i grew up with. Lamb kafta tasted more like ground goat and served as patties instead of skewered. Tabouli not finely chopped and garlic paste seemed like pure garlic and not white and creamy as expected. read more

1 salad, 1 vegan plate, 3 falafel, 2 pita (lunch for 2) was $37. Almost $20/person for a vegetarian lunch. The staff were all friendly and the food was okay but it was just way overpriced so we won't be back. read more

What a spot!! If you like Mediterranean food, this one is definitely fresh, cooked on the spot, delicious meal! What a colorful and full of taste plates! My first time at this West Chase spot, and I will return! A wonderful family owns it and you can tell the food is cooked with TLC! They were very nice accepting us, took our orders and the food quickly came to our table. The hibiscus tea is delicious! The food was fresh, colorful, tasty and healthy! We had their home made baklava for dessert and it was probably the best one I've had. Not overly sweet, not overfly sloppy, just right! I'd you're on the area, give this place a try! read more

What delight. From the hard working parents born in Lebanon, to their American born daughter who greeted me with a smile & so willing to please. They served me authentic food that my Mother made. I ordered the vegan plate. First time trying Lebanese food. Pretty delicious! Only think I didn't enjoy from this place were the grape leaves... quite sour. Everything else was delicious! There is indoor and outdoor seating. The waitress was very nice. You sit anywhere you want, she takes your order, and you pay at the counter. I'd say a little pricey but idk if that's due to the world economy rn. Also, not pictured, but the baklawa (not sure if vegan) was so good! read more
