This is probably the worst place to ever go to. There was no wait at the door, we were sat promptly. So you would think this would be the start of a good review, wrong. Once we were sat we waited around 15 min for our waitress. She took our order but here's where everything turned for the worse. We have been waiting for our food since 7:40 it has now been almost an hour and still no food in sight. 8:45 we received bread and a salad. I was in the mood for some Mexican food while at the beach however I was with my friend who is an extremely picky eater. Someone suggested we try this place out since it has Mexican food and Italian food (Italian food being the easier option for someone who is picky about food). A couple owns the restaurant, the wife is Italian and the husband is Mexican. So, they serve both in their restaurant. The reason I'm giving this place three stars is because my friend, who is a picky eater asked for bread for the table since she saw other tables with it. The waitress told her that she had to have an Italian meal to get the bread. However, my friend got pizza and a salad so we were super confused. The waitress wasn't too happy with us either. I got the fajitas and they were just okay, I probably won't be back honestly. Went here for dinner and was extremely disappointed. Drinks took 20 mins to get to the table, our initial server disappeared and there was one server for the whole restaurant. When we ordered our food we asked how long the food would take because we had kids with us and server said 30 mins. After 40 mins we never received our appetizers or food. I understand a restaurant can be understaffed but what was most upsetting was the way the server handled the situation. Instead of apologizing for the wait and admitting to being understaffed, he gave multiple excuses and blamed us for the food we ordered taking too long.. we ordered guacamole for appetizer! We ended up leaving the restaurant with a few hungry and not so happy kids. Understaffed, poor service and most of all poor customer service! read more

Unlike some other reviewers, we enjoyed the meal. The service was great and we received our food in a very reasonable amount of time. We ordered enchiladas - me- vegetable enchilada and my husband- pulled chicken enchilada. They came with rice and beans and green salsa. We both enjoyed them very much! I can't find any reviews on this place older than a week, so I think this restaurant reopened under the name "Fresco" recently, in June 2017. We attempted to eat here last night. We waited at the hostess stand, in a hot, dank restaurant with no A.C., for five minutes to be seated in this empty eatery. Upon being discovered by the hostess, we were seated toward the side of the restaurant, near another couple. We were the only patrons inside the place. We all waited. And waited. And nothing. No one ever came out of the back to wait on us after 15 hot minutes, so we left! We won't be back. read more

Well. So far we have been sitting at our table for an hour. We sat at the table for a good 20 minutes before the only waitress came to our table and asked us what we wanted to drink. Another 10 minutes before we even got those. There's only 4 tables in here at the moment. When we put our order in the waitress opened the menu and looked at it like she's never seen it a day in her life and it took her another 5 minutes to figure out how to even write our orders down. Way too slow...both times took forever for simple menu items. I ordered mahi mahi tacos and waited almost an hour and also 2 salads and soup as appetizer which took about 45 mins. Restaurant had 4 other parties there. Waitress never came over. And finally when we asked for the 3rd time about our food, she then told me they ran out of Mahi mahi and asked if I would eat salmon for my tacos instead? Unbelievable! Placed a large takeout order on a Saturday night and informed it would be an hour. That's understandable - large order on a Saturday night. Went to pick up food about an hour and 15 minutes later only to be informed it would be at least another half hour. Unfortunately, one of two things that should have happened did not: a) a call ahead of time alerting us of the delay or b) an apology with some sort of compensation for the inconvenience. Neither happened. Asked to speak to manager upon returning another half hour later only to be told that they were too busy to speak to us. The food, to be fair, was good. This was one of the worst experiences in Ocean City!! We went on a Thursday night and there were 8 tables of customers! It took exactly 1 hour for our food to come out and it wasn't even hot!! When we went to pay our bill I asked them "what is going on here tonight?" His reply was "we are really busy"!! They have about 25 tables in this restaurant plus outdoor seating!! If you can't handle 8 tables perhaps you shouldn't be in this business!! The nightmare continues when we went to pay our bill with a credit card we were told the machine was broken and to go down the street to a nearby atm!! REALLY??? Don't waste your time going to this restaurant because there are too many good restaurants that are nearby that can handle the business! read more

Liars!!! My 3yr old son has celiac and they have gluten free options. My wife called ahead to check if they are celiac friendly. They assured her that the chef uses a separate prep area and in fact the chef also has celiac so has a clear understanding of safe food handling. When we arrived we were told the server that my son has a severe gluten allergy. Again we were assured that it was safe. We order the gluten free grill cheese for our both children. 1 1/2 hrs after eating there my so became violently ill vomiting for over 4 hrs. I called spoke with the chef again she stated that her food prep was celiac safe. However, after questioning the steps that she uses she stated that she only wipes down the grill in between and that she doesn't even have celiac!!! Please if you have celiac stay away from this place!!! BTW the service was horrible!!! read more

Worst customer service ever. Manager and owners don't care about their customers. Do not come here they don't deserve your business. Brought the family here for dinner. Our waitress came quickly to take our orders. We waited over 25 minutes for appetizer to show up even though there was only three other tables with people. Two minutes after our appetizers showed up our dinner came. I asked the waitress to take back our appetizers and take it off our bill, since we would not be eating it. The appetizers should have showed up 15 minutes ago. She returned saying the manager would not take the app off our bill. I asked to talk to the manager, but the waitress said she won't com out. I asked to speak to the owner but he refused to talk to us as well. Our waitress was in tears telling us the owner is a coward and makes her always face the customers. This restaurant does not care about their customers. Their food is average at best. I have never had a worse experience at a restaurant. They should not be in business if you don't care about your customers. read more
