When it came my turn a person from the drum department helped me and he had no idea what I was talking about. The other employee knew what I needed and tried to educate the drum guy with my help. Their computer system said they had 5 of them but they could not be found after a very brief search. I selected an alternative system that was not really what I wanted but works so far. All the guitars I tried were very poorly setup. Another employee finally showed up as I was looking at a PRS SE Mccarty. I asked the employee why the guitar was $1400.00 instead of $600 to $900 as it is priced elsewhere. He just grabbed the guitar out of my hand, said he had to give a lesson and disappeared with the guitar. Lost sale and customer for Guitar Center. Won't be going back for a long long long time. Time to go to Reverb for my future buys.

DON'T BOTHER GOING HERE!…read more I purchased a brand new Fender Squier Mini Strat Electric Guitar, a (supposedly leather) guitar strap, and a used Blackstar amp. I only played the Fender Squier Mini once after removing the plastic, and it plays, but it doesn't sound like it should. I also attempted to use the "leather" guitar strap with the Fender (which was suggested by the salesperson for this guitar), but it didn't hold the guitar and started fraying after one use. Then, after using the amp only 3 times, it completely stopped working. It turns on occasionally but none of the buttons work and there is clearly something wrong with the internal electrical system, so it's useless. I reached out to the manager of this store about returning these items but I have not heard back. I would definitely NOT recommend this place!!

When I pointed this out, the manager, David, left a voicemail to the effect that they wouldn't cover my return shipping because (in all seriousness) he doesn't "know anyone who uses batteries in pedals." I pointed out that I'm now left with a choice of an expensive repair or expensive return shipping (it's a heavy, vintage pedal) - a message that David simply ignored. Reading other reviews here, I'm clearly far from the only customer who has been disappointed by Music Go Round Fort Worth's misrepresentation of gear online. AVOID!
