I stumbled upon this place on accident trying to get out of the cold in Amsterdam and I'm glad that I did! The aesthetic was homey but with a modern twist-I felt like I was in a family members home eating dinner. The service could have been better which was odd because it wasn't really busy. This was my first time trying true Italian pasta outside of the States and now I can't look back. I would for sure recommend this place for a chill and familiar vibe for a drink or a bite to eat.

Found this place and decided to give it a try! Great, friendly staff and reasonably priced options. I'd give 4 stars. Main reason for 4 stars, is that I really needed a veggie option after eating snacks all day so that was my one note. The food though was fresh and delicious! I'd go back!

Huge prawns, fresh mushrooms, strawberries and tomatoes all perfectly dressed. Refreshing and satisfying. The paella is good with loads of seafood in it. When he brought us the bottled iced teas, he also brought us two glasses of water... So I guess you only get water if you order another drink? Tips for ordering: The "rib eye pork" pieces were super rare. Eat at your own risk. Don't order paella unless you have 2 hours to eat dinner. The paella took 1 hour and 30 minutes to come out!! When we ordered, the female server said the paella takes 20 minutes.

We did notice a slight price increase based on the way they've changed up the tasting menu offerings since our last visit, but we still had a special occasion meal with a €55 bottle of wine for €180 total for 2 people. To me, that is very affordable for such a nice meal. What we really love is that the menu is changed drastically each time we visit, so we get to try different items and have a new experience each time. The tasting menu options are very affordable as tasting menus go! Our favorites this time were the mussels as well as the tomatoes with dijon ice cream (yes!). For me, the beef cheek was not so nice. But that's what is great about the tasting menu... there are enough samplings to leave full, even if you skip one or two items or leave a bit of food behind (not that my hubby didn't finish everything I did not!). We are leaving the Netherlands this month back to NYC, and this is one of the restaurants we will miss the most! We know we can get a meal of this caliber, but not at this price, in New York!

I say a very unexpected posh place, attractive interior, attractive staff, party atmosphere, elegant exterior. I was in my way to Food Hallen buuut saw this place first and I couldn't be more happy with my choice. We were sited a table already reserved from a later hour but being told we have 1,5h to enjoy, that wasn't a problem. The menu was explained by our nice waiter and the options were leaning towards shared food. They also had a 3 course menu for 32 eur, that's quite a deal I say :) We chose a grill made dorada, with fancy sides. The fish was for two persons and it was brought and opened in our face, also open up and nicely arranged on a plate without the bones. Elegant :) Actually the waiter wasn't satisfied with the how the fish was cooked and he apologized but he went to ask for another, even though I was hungry I appreciated the interest for delivering the best quality. Alcohol wise they have a variety of 10 eur cocktails to choose from, I even got a personalized one. All in all, this is a very nice place to go out. I like the bar vibes in it

FAST FOOD: I ordered the Celeriac with Forest Mushroom soup which was amazing. While I waited for it to cool down I ate the crostini which had some kind of tapenade. The waitress seems to think the base is made from the bottom part of the celery stalk, but had a pea soup kind of taste with a chicken broth. The forest mushrooms also were amazing. We also had the Reuben and the Caprese sandwiches, both were great, the Caprese could have used maybe a little more pesto sauce or balsamic. Atmosphere: great restaurant, there's a patio but it was cold so we sat inside, they have a beautiful bar and you can see the chef cooking away. Music playing in the background. Service: Excellent, the two young girls and young men were taking care of all the tables and cooking. Tip: Try the soup.
