The lady spent about an hour on my nails, but she didn't clean my cuticles properly. I asked her to make them look clean, but she barely touched them. She applied two layers of clear base and then two layers of a nude milky shade -- which looked nothing like what I had asked for. The result: bulky gel around the cuticles, uneven application, and one nail that wasn't even shaped round. When I pointed out that one nail looked off, she said, "Your finger isn't even." Her command of English was poor, which made it hard to explain what I wanted. I skipped pedicure cause I expected it will be a disaster. Since I had to rush to another appointment, I left but later called back to complain. I explained that I was unhappy with the result and that this wasn't BIAB. The man I spoke to told me to come back so they could redo it. When I returned, I explained again that the nails were bulky, uneven, and nothing like what I had asked for. They didn't seem to understand me, and he said, "She did a good job. I can remove it if you like, but we don't do BIAB color." I was shocked -- why didn't they tell me that in the morning before taking the booking? In the end, he removed the top layer, told me to wash my hands, gave me back my money, and left me with cracked, unfinished layers still on my nails. They weren't cleaned, smooth, or wearable. Overall: a complete waste of time, unprofessional, misleading, and the worst nail experience I've ever had.

Secondly, the man who runs the place was and is generally rude his customer service skills are awful even when you call their store to ask a general question he's just passive aggressive. I got my nails done a week a go and most of them had cracked. All i wanted was to get them fixed so I can go about my day so I called the shop to make them aware that i was going to come in and he asked me to send "evidence" on the IG or Facebook page and they'll get back to me. I did not get a response from them until 23.41pm that evening saying I can come in. Went to the store this afternoon only for them to act like the conversation never happened. The girl that was there that did my nails originally on the Saturday yanked my hand and started inspecting it and they started talking in their language and smirking which I found quite rude. So I told her that "the guy" said to come in and get them fixed - instead of actually fixing the nails she just glued the cracked ends and said to come back in a week. So i asked if i am coming back next week what are you going to do ? Because I left my house in hopes that i would get my nails fixed there and then and if that wasn't the case that should have been communicated when you requested "the evidence". I asked for my money back since the nails only lasted my 6 days rather than the usual 3wks before i'd need an infill - i was told NO refund i have to come back in a week and pay again to correct something that should have been done correctly in the first place! I have been to this salon several times to get my hair cut and each time I leave feeling completely fabulous! From the moment you walk into the salon you feel like a valued customer as all the staff are incredibly friendly. Getting my hair washed at Medusa is definitely my favourite aspect of the hairdressing experience. They lather your hair in the most delicious smelling shampoo and massage your head for a wee while which is so relaxing! My hairdresser was very friendly and understood exactly what it was I was after. The prices start at £32 for a ladies hair cut and blow dry which I first thought was a little bit expensive but having been and experienced the service, I found that it was very worth it.
