I visited the Zuri salon on Monday as i was enquiring about the HD brows. I met Pauline and she explained to me all about the HD brows and gave me a test for my arm to do for my appointment which would be on Saturday. She told me it would only be £20, which is amazing! There are salons in Edinburgh which charge up to £50!. I went away feeling very excited for Saturday! I visited the salon today and was welcomed with 'Hi Emma' which I think is just brillant, considering a lot of places are quite ignorant when you first walk in. I was taken almost immediately into the salon room to get my eyebrows done. I look after my eyebrows but I they were definetely NOT what i wanted them to look like. Pauline took a photo of my eyebrows before, what a great idea!. She then done all the steps and mixed two dyes together as my current hair colour is lilac and i was unsure of what colour to get them done! We were speaking a lot about the HD brows when i was getting them done and i was asking lots of questions. Pauline could answer all of them.. which really put me at ease when i was getting them done. Afterwards I could not believe how my eyebrows looked! they were completely amazing! I was shown a photo of the before and after and could not believe the difference! Pauline let me hold a mirror and showed me how to draw them in where i was missing hair. In conclusion, my visit to Zuri was brilliant! The salon is beautiful inside, very clean! Pauline is such a star! I am very happy with my eyebrows and have even booked in an appointment for my sister! I cannot recommend Zuri enough! read more

I had the pleasure of a Neck, Back and Shoulder Massage and a Facial at the Zuri, Howdenhall, Edinburgh curtosy of KG Deals. IT WAS A FANTASTIC EXPERIENCE. I have to say that my first impressions of the Salon were not very good, it's very small and not very pleasing on the eye from the outside. But, WOW, what an experience. Pauline Murage is FAB U LOUS! I had a few knots in my back with working alot on the laptop and lifting Special Needs kids at work. Pauline managed to release these for me. The Facial was amazing too, Pauline certainly knows her stuff and I have shared the Zuri link with all my friends and family. I hope to return in the very near future. Excellent experience! I would say this was the best massage I have ever had - and I've had a few! Pauline really focussed on my areas of stress whilst still giving a great all over back massage. She worked hard at my many knots and tension points and gave good advice. I also thoroughly enjoyed my relaxing facial and so nice after both the massage and the facial. Have gone to pauline for approx 3 months i first had acrylic nails fitted and then every 3 weeks returned for infills.Nails have lasted as a terrible nail biter with no nails i now have nails.Due back tom to have acrylics soaked off as my own have grown to the length.i also have eyebrows waxed each time.lovely person,great therapist and prices are fine also. read more
