Boardwalk fries that are GOOD. We tried some other stands. They look similar, but Frenchy's are our favorite, and we consider them the best.

I also ordered a Zelda cocktail which was a good combination of sweet and sour. We started with cocktails and then switched to wine. Our server was very delightful and we never felt rushed. We had a couple of Manhattans, Mom had a red wine and Wifey had her usual vodka and ginger ale. The baguette was delightful and it was just enough. I started with the beef tartare which was seasoned very well and was very tasty. Others had the mussels on special, and an onion soup. Entrees were also very good a trout with almonds and French beans, a pork chop ( I'll try that next time), a beef bourguignon and I had the duck cassoulet. It brought me back to the days when I was making this dish with my owner and mentor JJ Rachou at La Cote Basque. It was a perfect night for it; it delivered and I was so satisfied. The wine that was chosen was very good a French blend, it was so good we had two LOL. The dessert I chose was very nice as well a chambord cake with raspberry ( I did wish it had a touch of chocolate on it, I even asked lol, but no luck). Others had the Creme brûlée and say it was very good as well. A big thank you to the FOH staff as well as the BOH a very nice job all around. Megan Keen ( restauranteur), you have a winner here.

The whole vibe was great and the meals were absolutely incredible. Since neither of us had been there before, Patty made some phenomenal suggestions, and somehow anticipated everything we needed before we even asked. She was a gem, and so patient and knowledgeable about everything in the menu. (Appetizer) Bolani: You have to get this. It's this crispy, golden fried dough filled with seasoned potatoes and herbs. It comes with a jalapeño chutney that is SO flavorful. Honestly, the menu description doesn't even do it justice, it's delicious. (Entree) Kabul Alfredo: I went with this for my main. It's basically the best of both worlds, its a linguine with garlic, creamy Alfredo, amd shaved parm, but topped with Afghan chicken kabob. The chicken was so tender and perfectly seasoned. I am SO glad we found Setaara, we'd originally tried to grab a quick burger at a hotel restaurant after a work event, but we were completely ignored there, so we just walked out and walked down the street looking for something open. The whole vibe was great, and our meals were absolutely incredible. I'll definitely be back!!!

The sautéed radishes were wonderful as I never had them prepared this way. Mushroom toast and croustades of crab were delicious. I thoroughly enjoyed the duck breast frites and my husband said the chicken coq a vin was the he best he's ever eaten. My Mom had a special which was lamb lollipops which she enjoyed very much. We had the carrots and brussel sprouts as well -both delicious. We ended sharing the crepe cake - scrumptious! Did not get photos of everything and some are partially eaten as it all was so good! Highly recommend!

My husband, who has been to Paris and is very particular about his escargot, said it was the closest he has ever had to the real thing. That alone says a lot. We started with the mushroom toast, which was hands down the best toast we have ever had, along with deviled eggs topped with salmon roe that added the perfect burst of flavor. Every bite felt thoughtful and elevated. For our mains, we ordered the coq au vin and duck frites, and both were outstanding. The sauces were rich and balanced, and the meats were cooked perfectly. Dessert sealed the deal with crème brûlée and pot de crème. The crème brûlée, especially, was a masterpiece. Beyond the food, the restaurant itself is small and charming with a cozy, intimate feel. The staff were warm and attentive and made the whole experience even better. This place deserves way more hype than it gets. If you are anywhere near Haddonfield, do not miss it.

This year we decided to return for our anniversary and I'm sad to say this was our last visit to Provence. What a disappointment! We started with a $9 bread basket and the inside of the bread was frozen! We told our server and they brought us a new one at the same time as our appetizers. They really should have taken off the bill. We didn't even eat it. The appetizers (mussels, lobster ravioli, and french onion soup with mushrooms) were very good. The entrees were awful. The trout was really salmon (I know the difference although it can be subtle). It was overcooked and served with overcooked cous cous and frozen, shriveled peas. The short rib was over salted and topped with banana pepper slices straight from the jar and some kind of salty chips over a parsnip, mashed potato yuckiness. Also, we noted on the reservation that this was a birthday and anniversary dinner and it wasn't even acknowledged by the staff. It's evident the "chef" was not the same as our last visit. The food and the service were below average at best. It's a shame.

The dining rooms, table arrangements, and the silverware are so elegant. All the food that came out was plated so beautifully, look at the pictures. I loved the Duck Confit over the waffles. The duck was cooked very tender and it went well with the waffles/syrup. The omelet had this really savory gruyere cheese that we loved. I think my favorite dish would be the beignet tree. They were fresh, crispy on the outside, and soft and warm on the inside. All three sauces that came with them were out of this world, but I think my favorite one was the raspberry sauce. The prices for what you get aren't too bad either, it was $25 for bread, entree, and drink. I would definitely recommend trying this place at least once for a special occasion.

You're only review, you've only been once and decide to go onto a public forum and give 1 star. Anyway off my soapbox. Pascal and Sabine not only has some of the best cocktails and bartenders in Asbury but possibly NJ. I have been countless times with my wife, my kids, large groups you name it. My favorite way to experience Pascal is to sit at the bar get a couple cocktails (The Jackal is a staple), the Madame Smith Burger (my wife gets the Mr Smith) the fries are amazing, and maybe the escargot and just enjoy. It's up there with some of the most perfect nights out in Asbury you can have. Hope this 5 star review balance out a ridiculous 1 star review. - YH

Lovely hostess, great round bar seating with huge windows for people watching, and a genuinely charming and attentive bartender (Mike). We started with oysters from Newfoundland and cheese off the happy hour menu -- both great. My mom loved her lavender French 75 (a drink special), and my white wine was perfect (the name escapes me at the moment). The garlic soup deserves awards. I first had it two summers ago and still think about it -- I made my mom try it and she immediately understood my rave reviews. For entrées, her burger was cooked perfectly medium-rare, and my fish & chips absolutely hit the spot. Both came with generous portions of house-made fries and an unexpectedly addictive house honey-mustard. We had enough fries for leftovers, and I even asked for extra mustard to take home. Food, service, atmosphere, lighting, noise level -- all dialed in. A 10/10 experience!
