I came in to get a hair cut and a root touch up on March 20, 2026. I came in with hair that was almost to the middle of my back and auburn hair everywhere but on my roots. Not only the my stylist Aaron Griffin put dark brown on my roots, he also didn't bother to ask how I wanted my hair. Right before he took his shears to my hair, I said I have a picture of what I wanted (shoulder length with lots of layers). He glanced at the picture and brushed it off with a flippant "cool" and started cutting. By the time I left, I was done, my hair was cut to my jawline. When it came time to pay, my total came to $165. When I got to my car, I was in tears because of how awful it was. When confronted later on, he tried to say I had shoulder length hair when I came in and that the reason my hair turned out so short was because I wanted lots of layers. I don't understand why they even have a book online option.. booked an apt for highlights, was running a bit late and wanted to check in with my stylist to let them know I was on my way. Hairstylist informs me my appointment was cancelled due to the stylist not being comfortable doing highlights.. was informed my appointment was cancelled at 10am, I expressed I was given no notification of this, I was traveling to Albany for this appointment and was paying for a sitter to watch my children as well. So out of babysitting money, out gas money and never got my hair done. This was my third time going to this salon, first two interactions were not the best and now with this last minute cancellation I am not impressed and will not be coming back. read more

I am here for my appointment and nobody else is. Waited for ten minutes. No communication other than a confirmation text. Doesn't do much good if they don't open the salon. Tried calling and even walked back by at a quarter after. Won't be calling them again or recommending them. What a waste of my time. I've been going to this salon off and on for a few years now for various services. Scheduled an appt for a women's haircut with Tancy. She was super nice, great conversation, asked me about what I wanted and started cutting. No wash, wet hair, cut was done in 15 minutes. No style and charged $50!! I was blown away and I realize prices have increased but this was a bit much plus adding in a tip for how little was done. If charging that much should state price on website and add more service to justify the price. Sorry to say I most likely won't be back. read more

Ask for the price before hand. Thought I was getting a kids cut for a good price. Tancy charged me $50 for barely 20 mins of a cut on my 10 year old. Didn't shampoo or style either. I would go somewhere else next time. I have never paid this much for a child. read more

So I went in to french twist with my aunt and she wanted her hair thinned, layered and feathered and she got her hair done by a new guy name demandray or something like that first of all he had to look it up on how to do that and when she told him that is not what she wanted and he said he did it right and he knows he would cut straigh across and was really rude. I called the owner and he cant do anything about it dont ever come to this place and have him do your hair. My appointment was at 2:00 p.m. with Desiree. Walked in 4 minutes early, it was like a ghost town. Another one woman walked in after me and was helped before me she was checked in then the woman turned to me ask my name said oh I'll go tell Desiree. Waited waited waited, someone else asked me if I had an appointment yes at 2:00 with Desiree. I heard somebody say I know I know, but Desiree didn't come out and say I'll be a couple minutes or I'm sorry I'm late nothing more Ghost Town. I used to come here all the time but my stylist has moved away, they don't hardly ever answer their phone, and apparently they don't value their customers time. This review is long overdue, but I guess better late than never, right? My husband and I had our wedding in Brownsville, OR last year and about three days out I realized that I was clueless as to how to do my hair. Finding a last-minute hair stylist could have been a nightmare, but Stephen and his team at French Twist came to my rescue. I was definitely saved a headache, and they were so nice! A few hours before the big event I had a team of stylists come out to the venue and do a fantastic job with my hair - and my mother's, MIL's, grandmother's, and even the flower girl's! That's a lot of hair, but it was all curled and done up well before I had to walk down the aisle. Everyone was incredibly professional and patient.
