My wife is struggling in college physics and had a Zoom session today that should have been a simple slam dunk for a Physics Tutor. We sent homework in advance, including my wife's attempts to work through the homework so he could see their thinking. He wasted half the session fiddling with equipment, did not talk through even one of the problems, got confused about what number they were on when he asked my wife to talk through their thinking on a problem, went on strange tangent, and effectively did no physics tutoring. He also sounded odd and we won't speculate on why but he didn't seem like he was fully present. I was very hopeful about this, but will have to look for another tutor.
