My daughter has been attending for just a few weeks and she finds it fun. I would certainly recommend attending this location.

I scheduled my exam the night before on the CompTIA website and was really relieved this location had next day availability. I arrived about 45 min early (not super necessary), but it gave me time to get familiar with the place. Some things future test-takers might want to know: - Parking: Lots of available parking when I went. I noticed there were some "reserved" spots; pretty easy to determine those spots. - Finding the entrance: Suite 100 is where Avarice Partners has an office, but there was no outside sign that day, even though their Yelp photos show it. The Avarice Partners sign was actually inside the suite that day (guessing it was because it was raining that day). The Suite 100 door was on the left side of their Avarice Partners sign picture on Yelp; the door was locked - there was a buzzer with a camera a few feet from the door. I just buzzed and let the front desk staff know I was there for testing. - Check-in process: Signed into the building on an iPad, took photos of my ID, then was informed I could wait in the waiting area if I'd like or I can do whatever I want outside (since I was ~45 min early). I returned when it was about 5 min before my time, and the Avarice Partners staff brought me through a mantrap and offered a restroom break first (nice touch; restrooms were only available after entering through the mantrap). Inside, check-in was smooth - signed a couple forms, had my photo taken, got to pick a locker to store my stuff, and the proctor gave me some basic instructions like raising my hand if I needed something (I didn't need anything though). - The testing room: I didn't get to sit in private cubicles/stations as they have pictured on Yelp - it was a long room with multiple stations along both walls. There were some form of dividers between each station, but I could still see other people. The noise level was fine; mostly just the hum of computers and HVAC. They had headphones at the stations and offered foam earplugs if I wanted them (I didn't utilize either). The room felt clean enough; not spotless or anything but adequate. - Taking the exam: My workstation worked fine. Some of the PBQs felt a little laggy, but that's probably just the exam software. When I finished, I returned the laminated note sheets they provided, got my printed score report, and the proctor walked me back out through the mantrap. Overall, very straightforward and smooth. Staff were helpful and professional. I'd definitely take another Pearson test here - easy parking, easy access, and no major issues.

They were really sweet despite being so busy, please consider taking your exam with Avarice Partners if you have the choice :)

This is an EXCELLENT RESOURCE if your high school son or daughter is serious about getting into a…read moregood 4 year college, as well as finding grants and scholarships they qualify to recieve. Evidently, private sources have deadlines to apply both before, and after the exams are taken. If after reading this review you as a parent are interested in having a 30 day trial, call the office and ask for David Ramig, the supervisor, and see if there is a discount your child qulifies for. Since I've seen it's results so far, I know my niece will keep it, because she really loves how the lesson plans are challenging her in an "interactive way"..she has to reply to the practice questions, before it will move her on. She is really good on the computer because she was practically born with one in her hands, but they still gave her an orientation over the phone because she had to fill out a questionaire for their scholarship database. WOW..she found out she qulifies for $18,000 1st day she installed the software, and had an orientation, so far, from differeent sources. We thought we could just do research on the internet ourselves. BUT with all the info they need to do deatiled searches, there's no way we would have found some of these sources on our own, becuase I've never even heard of some of the comapnies that are offering grants. In order to qualify for a refund on the point guarentee, your child has to take an exam with the program 1st, use it again, and take an exam again. The 30 day trial is so you can take advantage of all the resources they offer and to see if you want to keep it until graduation. If you look into their "Ultimate Program" it's actually a better deal if you have more than one college-bound child, because it is a program that lives on the Internet, and they update their website to 'real-time" That means, each 'student' using it gets their own username and password, for one membership price. Each one of your kids has to take a diagnostic test with the software CD's first, so that the program can develop a customized lesson plan based on whatever subjects need the most improvement. Every time your child uses it, by logging in, it prints out a progress report that gets e-mailed to you, so that they cannot "fib" to you and tell you that they have already studied! If the lesson plans are not giving them enough improvement is certain subjects, they include live classes taught by professors with white board sessions on every subject on all version of SAT and ACT exams. By following these study plans and your child retakes the tests they guarantee a 300 point increase on the SAT and 5 points on the ACT each test to test. High scores on these tests could mean the difference in how many different grants and scholarship awards they potentially qualify for. They also provide grant research assistance, and help you understand how to apply for funding and help you with using the website all the way through your children's senor year. If your child uses the program for a year, they also guarantee a GPA point increase. They really do a great job of helping you understand that getting into a good college is a process, and a commitment, that takes focused steps. If you make the investment in this program, it will pay for itself over and over, especially if you take advantage of the continuing education, and scholarship recourse's. When it comes down to college applications, Deans of admissions seem to hoan in on 3 things 1. GPA 2. SAT/ACT scores 3. Community/Extra Cirrucular Activities...and UPC guantees improvemnt on 1 and 2...and helps find grants based on all 3
