It was obvious it wasn't working after the owners son Adam had to keep playing with it and adjusting something in the tank and flushing at least 40 times. After he left I dropped tissue into the toilet and flushed. On two of three occasions there was little water exchange and the tissue remained in the bowl. I had to have him come back. This time with his tail between his legs he came strolling up to the door with the tank that went with the new base. The old one wasn't compatible. Did they think we wouldn't notice our commode was not working properly? If I could give them a negative five give stars I would. And now the legal department from American Standard is involved because they are making slanderous and fraudulent claims that they were at fault. They had nothing to do with this. The neglect of the tech who put the snake in the toilet is. I could never recommend these cheapskates to anyone. In October I paid $460 for Frew Plumbing to unclog a drain. I thought it was high but paid without complaint. Noticed afterward my toilet had three cracks inside where it narrows at the bottom as I scubbed to remove the scratches. After repeated calls the owner came and agreed it was cracked and it would be replaced. We'd even agree it would cost us about $85 to upgrade to a taller one. Calls again went unreturned after I let them know my ceramic floor tile is cracked just next to the toilet also as I hadn't seen it before. Fast forward a month... I just got a letter in the mail from them telling me to contact the manufacturer of the toilet. Defective? Wasn't till a Frew plumber was here. Denying the snake in the toilet? I have a witness!! Seriously??? An employee-only with the company a few weeks-attempted a quick fix by putting a snake down the toilet. When that didn't work he left and came back with a longer one. At that time he removed the toilet and was able to remove the clog that was at the elbow in the basement two floors below immediately. I'll be off to the magistrate first thing tomorrow but wanted to give everyone a heads up. I dont think they realized I am a bitch and I will not let this go. Picked the wrong lady!!

The following week, I followed up and was very curtly told by the office that there was an family emergency for the worker who had my information in his folder. I totally understood as emergencies happen and asked when I should expect a follow up and was very directly told "I just told you there was an emergency". I asked when I should expect a follow up and she stated by the end of the week and ended the call. Here we are 3 weeks later (2 phone calls and email) later with absolutely no communication from the service provider. I even attempted to text Cory (the good technician) who also did not respond. So essentially, I paid over $600 (for the camera and to snake a drain unsuccessfully) to be ghosted. Beware!

Richard Dodaro is a plumber in Forest Hills, PA. He was recommended on NextDoor.com. Believe every…read morelow review you have read about this man. He is aggressive, inappropriate, verbally abusive, incompetent and completely unprofessional. I needed a shower to be repaired.I called him and he came by same day to see what the job required and to quote the job. He told me he could return on the following Saturday morning with the right part to repair and if that didn't correct the situation he would need to replace the entire shower system. He felt certain that he could repair the faucet handle. He quoted me $650 if the the system needed a full repair. He was complaining the entire time about every customer that day had large dogs and he was angry and wound up from the moment he walked through my door. It was very uncomfortable to be around him. He returned the following Saturday and removed the hot water handle to the shower. I advised him that I purchased a new shower kit, 3 handle that appeared to be the same that was installed prior. He attempted to use the new kit, then went to his truck and brought in a delta cartridge that didn't fit. In fact the cartridge he jammed it in the stem. He then could not stop the water from running out the shower faucet. He then picked up the new shower kit and slammed it on the floor stating "I don't know why people buy this shi...." He yelled at me "Throw it away or send it back to Jeff Bezos." He was there an hour. During that time he kept trying to engage me in personal small talk, and pressuring me to go out with him for drinks. I declined. He then charged me $200 for his 1 hour of incompetency and rudeness, and informed me he would be would need to return and install an entire new shower kit and go thru the plaster wall behind the shower. He then told me to go to the Kingston Brass website and send him an email with the photos of what I wanted, he would approve and I would purchase. I had to leave town unexpectedly.. Upon my return I sent Rich Dodaro a text message with a link to the shower faucet kit I was going to purchase. He said it was fine. It was delivered and I called him to reschedule. I was going to have my son there because I did not want to be alone with this guy. He then asked if I was still using my son's home to shower as mine was not working. . I explained that ...I had no working shower in my home. He said, but I fixed it...you had running water when I left. I said no, remember you couldn't repair it, that is why you had me order the new kit. He couldn't remember what he did and he seemed to be very confused. I told him that he charged me $200 and couldn't repair the faucet handle, that I could not return the first kit because he damaged the parts, and I ordered the 2nd replacement for $300, and...I was now at $700 and still have a broken shower. I told him I wanted to be sure that the $650 he quoted me would resolve the problem, and I again asked what availability he had to complete the job. He responded via text "I don't think I want to work with you anymore. Rude and incompetent.
