I completed all required paperwork online ahead of time and provided my insurance information as requested. However, when I arrived for my appointment, the staff acted as if none of my information was on file and asked for my insurance card again. After checking me in and placing me in an exam room, I waited about 10 minutes before a staff member returned and told me I was out of network. Another staff member then came in asking for my insurance card again, even though it had already been provided and reviewed. I was then told the doctor would not be able to see me because I was out of network. No option was offered to pay out of pocket or proceed with the visit. What makes this especially frustrating is that the office had my insurance information in advance from my online submission and never contacted me beforehand to notify me about the network issue. Additionally, they asked me to arrive an hour early (1:00 PM instead of my scheduled 2:00 PM appointment) because the doctor needed to leave early. This resulted in a complete waste of my time. Staff is rude and doesn't know how to fill out paper work correctly. I spoke to the office manager, Veronica and she was just as rude and useless as the rest of the staff. My mom came here and needed her work forms and disability forms filled out and staff here doesn't complete or pay attention to what is needed to be filled out. They've had her disability paper work for over 3 weeks now (second set that needs to be completed because the FIRST time around was not completed correctly) and their excuse is "we weren't in office." They are there Monday's and Friday's. The office will not follow up with you, you need to keep calling and bugging them. When papers are time sensitive don't expect to receive them back in a timely manner. This office has caused my mom to loose all her unpaid hours at work because they don't know how to fill out the forms correctly. Due to the lack of urgency from the office, if the disability claim is denied due to the office procrastinating I will be looking into a disability lawyer. read more

My experience with Dr. Dastgah has been excellent. For over five years I have seen Dr. Dastgah for ongoing foot care related to type 1 diabetes. Recently, I developed an infection and Dr. Dastgah immediately saw me and established a regime of sterility, dressing changes, and antibiotics. He took the condition very seriously and saw it through to complete healing. If you are in need of a podiatrist look no further. Dr. Karamloo (aka Dr. K.) and her husband Dr. Dastgah are awesome doctors and I am thankful I found them. When I was in need of a podiatrist I looked to yelp and found this office had good reviews so decided to make an appt. I was originally being seen by Dr. K. when I saw Dr. Dastgah in the office during my visit. I realized he was the podiatrist that worked on my mom many years ago. I remember him being an amazing doctor to her but I couldn't remember his name since it was so long ago so I had to find my own podiatrist. Lo and behold he turned out to be Dr. K's husband and he remembered every single detail of my mom's case and it really impressed me. Now that you know how I came about being a patient, here is my experience. Dr. K has done several surgeries on my right and left foot. She has also operated on my daughter twice. Each time went smoothly. Dr. K and Dr. Dastgah were both present during all of my surgeries and this made me feel more at ease. My first surgery was the most intense. I had a broken bone that needed to be removed, a bunion, corn removal and tendonitis all in my right foot. The initial recovery was the hardest because I couldn't walk for a month but I was aware of this from the beginning. Dr. K stayed in touch during the whole recovery and randomly checked in to make sure I was doing okay. This meant a lot because you usually don't hear from your doctor until the office visit. I did have to go in every week after my surgery then it turned into every 2 weeks but I didn't mind because it was always a pleasure seeing Dr. K, Dr. Dastgah, and their staff. I always appreciate a place with great customer service. It's been 1 year since this surgery and I am very happy with my results. If I had any issues with this experience I would not have gone on to get my left foot fixed let alone trust them to operate on my daughter. So as you can tell I do trust them with all my family's foot needs and I can say confidently Dr. K is my favorite doctor. I just wish she was my doctor for all my medical needs. read more

I had an appointment with Dr. Karamloo for my ingrown toe nail. And she was really amazing at it. At first I was really scared to get it done because the last time that I had an ingrown toe nail was when I had to go to Washington Hospital to get removed and I was going through severe pain. But with her I did not feel any pain. The only small pain I had was when the needle was getting inserted into my toe, but other than the whole procedure was amazing, easily done, fast. Absolutely fantastic.. Dr. Sara and Dr. Amir are the most knowledgeable professionals I have ever met. My foot has been throbbing for 6 months and I went to a few so called specialist and not one took the time to really see what's wrong. My first appointment with Dr Sara, I had an X-ray done on the spot and she immediately knew my issues and took her time to explain it to me. I am so shocked by some of these low reviews! Dr. D (Dastgah) and Dr. K (Karamloo) are awesome doctors! I've been going to them for 2+ years and have NEVER had an issue. They have been very caring and professional. I saw both of them when I had a toe infection. If it wasn't for them giving me good/stern advice, I could have lost my life because the infection was spreading. I had to spend many days in the hospital, but the good news is Dr. D was able to save my toe and got the infection under control, thank goodness! While other doctor's had the weekend off, Dr. D and Dr. K took the time (on their day off) to come check on me at the hospital. They truly care about their patients. Also, the nurses at Washington Hospital Fremont speak highly of both of them! I couldn't ask for better doctors; they are awesome! read more

Dr.K and her husband are simply amazing! Awhile back I unfortunately had back to back ingrown toenails and me being me I was scared as can be about them! (Super afraid of needles and whatnot) Dr.K suggested a cream that would numb my toe and I bought it. Let me tell you all that it did the trick! I didn't feel a thing and the procedure was done! Both times without issues! She was very professional and very kind/patient with me throughout all of my visits. Then I needed to get special soles for my shoes. Her husband immediately took care of me. I got some Insights on how to better care for my feet and I'm feeling pretty much little to no pain now! Really bad experience. Only one visit, we were asked to pay the $50 dollars but did not get receipt at all. The Dr. Karamloo came in for just one sight at two red swollen toes, without saying anything except "I am gonna give you some prescriptions". One and half month later, we got the voice mail that we must pay the balance otherwise will send to collector at the end of this month (which only one day left). I called back to both lines (one is voice mail caller the other left in voice mail), both are only busy tones. I stop by the office to pay the balance anyway. The representative's attitude is really bad and not nice at all. There are so many other choices in Fremont medical services area. In brief, bad service and high charge. Worst place fo go to for a simple foot treatment. I had the misfortune of taking my son here on 4/27 and am still being harassed by them. I had paid for $35 copay and extra $25 for medication during the first visit and full payment for cleaning since they failed to apply insurance. Now, I still get an invoice for the initial copay. Everyone from staff to doctor (Warren Johnson) is super friendly. Doctor is also very knowledgeable and spends time answering questions. However, we've waited an hour plus at every appointment to be seen! Once or twice I can understand, but it seems to be SOP over there to have patients wait forever. Like anyone else, I feel that my time is valuable. When I make an appointment at 10, I expect to show up on time and be seen within the 1/2 hour at the latest, not 11:30!!!! And a 4pm appointment ends up being a 5:15. How ridiculous is that? This doctor has no respect for his patient's time. And having to rush over there for weekly visits with him, only to sit around for over an hour, for the past two months has really taken its toll. This doctor has no respect for your personal time. Search elsewhere for someone with experience and who has more respect for you as a patient. read more

I had a cyst on my toe for about a year and due to Covid, I put off seeing the doctor. I finally decided to get it looked at by Dr. Karamloo. She was extremely friendly and patient. She quickly and accurately diagnosed my condition and rather than "jump" to surgery, she suggested a non-invasive route first and it worked! I am pain free and my foot has properly healed!
