The scenery was worth every penny and worth the drive out to Canon City. I've been to some beautiful places in my life like Germany, The Netherlands, Alaska, Austria and seen some breathtaking views but I would put this train ride in the top 10 experiences in my life. The weather was perfect, the sun was shining, we had great seats on the train but the sights were the winners. Life is short. Take the train ride.

She was warm, patient, and extremely helpful in making the modifications we needed. From that first interaction, we felt like we were in good hands. When we arrived, Rainey was thoughtful and accommodating, especially since my wife and I were traveling with her parents, who needed a little extra support and assistance. Her kindness was greatly appreciated. Then we met Susan in the gift shop...an absolute gem. We immediately connected when I mentioned that my late mother's name was also Susan. I asked if she knew the meaning of her name, and she replied, "Lily." That stopped me in my tracks because the book I'm writing about my mother is titled The Lily of the Valley. I promised Susan that when it's finished, I'll send her a copy. In fact, our conversation inspired me to sit down and write while we waited to board the dome train. Once aboard, Thomas, our server, was awesome. He was knowledgeable, informative, personable, and made us feel less like customers and more like family. His service added so much to an already memorable ride. The scenery is spectacular, but what really made this experience special were the people. Sharon, Rainey, Susan, and Thomas each contributed something memorable to our day. A truly wonderful experience and one we highly recommend. It was absolutely worth the investment...and gave us memories we'll carry home to California with us. Truly a happy ending and we' come again. LOL!

The sunset view is spectacular! The amenities and decor are great. I would love to come back during the winter and stay a few nights. I love the contactless experience and we had no issues with check in. This cabin was missing a privacy screen on the side that faces the neighbors in the living room is about the only thing I would change. Definitely book this place you won't regret it. Spike buck is probably a better option to minimize road noise and the view from corner pocket looks way better!

When I called the motel to see if it was found, they claimed that it was not in the room. The owner deflected and said that they will check the trash and the laundry, but there is no way it could have possibly ended up in any of those places. It was simply left on the desk, and I forgot to put it on before we checked out of the room. Whoever went into the room to clean, had to have taken it. It is an easy item to put in a pocket and not think twice. I am completely devastated that I made such a stupid mistake but am heartbroken that someone would steal something as valuable and meaningful as a wedding ring.

My first appt they didn't pick me up at my home and after three phone calls in a two hour window a driver called to pick met up at my doctors office instead of my house and was 20 minutes late getting me at which point I rescheduled for today. 2. I called to have originally two scheduled rides. And the day before my appt scheduled to have my pickup from home to the doctors canceled. Just now I found out they did not cance that appt and went to pick me up at my house and I was not there. I called and spoke to the director of the dirextor and explained the situation and had to cut it short as I was in the middle of my appt. Another agent called me to let me know they're short 5 drivers (no surprise) and wanted to pick me up instead of at my scheduled 10 am slot, offered to pick me up at 12 noon. Needless to say. i would rather pay for an Uber ride a z taxi or ride with metro transportation any day of the week. I pray their disability trial program does not get renewed another six months bc after these two experiences and having spoken with 2 managers that there is dire incompetency in the way this organization is run. I highly highly recommend and Rita for transportation, it is amazing the service that they offer.
