They will not give you a straight forward answer. You can't ask a question with out them going off trying to explain something irrelevent. They leave a lot of details out. Dont even try to get a hold of a manager...it could take you days, if not weeks. I was on hold for 30 minutes, so I hung up. Some say there is no broker fee what so ever and some say there is. But if your a prefered customor then there in NOT. What is a prefered customor ? Well I never actually got a real definition but she said no tickets/accidents (basically a good driver) then she added later you must be OVER 25 to qualify. Very misleading and decieving. I remember hearing about them from radio commercial and found myself looking for a new policy, one of my buddies told me to check them out since he was able to get a policy for a low monthly rate. The person i have to give all credit to is Liza C. - No frills, straight shooter, to the point, gave me options and didn't rush anything. if I'm gonna fork over money every month, I'm going to want everything on paper. She was great at showing my options (good or bad) and made it clear what terms I was signing up for. I feel bad for asking so many questions! I hate shopping insurance companies. I hate waiting in lines. I hate high rates and hidden verbiage. She made my transaction relatively quick, was fast to assist and broke EVERYTHING down. Really bad place .i was charged 350 a month with 1000 down Payment for my 2014 lancer evolution and 2008 Lexus IS . Called the insurance company just to confirm and they told me they are only asking for 400 down payment with 250 a month. I was so mad that I just switched to geico but there cancellation process was just a massive headache. I gave them not 1 but 3 chances to fix their mistake and they fucked it all up every time. Geico charged me only 230 a month with 0 down payment. Big difference in my pocket with a better customer service.My advise to people Who really wants to use this place is to get a different quote from different places before deciding to go with this place or freeway insurance read more

This is the worst company for customer service. I called the main office cause someone hit me and they go thru this comp. I got no support and was put on hold for about an hour waiting to speak to a supervisor. They could not pull up this clients information by giving their clients policy # and said they could only by the clients drivers license #. I explained the lady who hit me spoke Spanish and I couldn't get all the details, just the company, policy #, name and License plate number. I can't believe I got no assistance and was treated with so much disrespect when we pay so much money for insurance! Please stay away from this company!! Okay so the folks at Hacienda Drive have no idea on what they're doing. It's mostly the girls I have problem with; they need to improve their attitude. I keep seeing different "managers" and agents every month. When I come in, and try to continue any process the agent I talk to has no idea what I'm talking about because it's not the same agent. Here's what's going on: I bought a new car, got new insurance, set up automatic payments. Well for the past three months I've been getting notices that my payments are not going through. It is because the automatic payment option wasn't set up correctly. I've gone to the office multiple multiple times, heard the agents giggle, and talk on the phone about their personal life, all while waiting to be helped. Turns out they still want to charge me an additional charge to make my payment because the automatic payment option wasn't set up correctly! Who's fault was it that the automatic withdrawal payment option wasn't set up correctly? It was their fault not mine, I don't see why they have to charge me. Left the office without my problem being solved. Had to create an account online with the insurance company and go from there. Total waste of time. Oh yea the girl who was "helping" me rolled her eyes too. Secondly, once I bought insurance for my car, they forgot to contact the bank with proof of my insurance...how do I know they forgot? When my bank sent me a letter a month later that I wasn't complying with the requirements of the loan because they had no proof of insurance and the bank had not been added as a lienholder. They were supposed to have faxed this to them, I had specified my cars weren't owned. Had to go back, and call the bank while talking to them because I couldn't trust them doing it themselves. Took two more hours to get through this. read more

I signed up with Pedro Mendoza who assured me he would be able help if I had questions. When my policy was threatened to be cancelled because he did not set up the auto payments, he would not return my calls. I had questions about what had been paid but no one in the agency could explain. I was with a competitor for over 15 years but switched to Freeway to same $$$. I'm going back. If you like crooks, go ahead and sign up. There is no customer service. The receptionist screen and ignore calls. WTH kind of business is that? The folks here are the worst. This place is the absolute worst and an entire scam. Would give them a zero if I could. Never do yelp reviews unless someone asks, so it says a lot that I'm leaving this review just to make sure no else makes the same mistake I did. Tried to cancel my policy after realizing they completely ripped me off, and a month later received a letter in the mail saying I had an upcoming payment. Called just for them to tell me they "never received the cancellation request." They also charged me for the month after I had already thought it was cancelled. Their customer service is absolute shit, specifically "Alexis" over at Stonewood (one of their companies apart of their grand scheme.) So far, waiting "5 to 10 business days" for the cancellation to "process." Alexis told me I have to call back just to make sure it actually happened. Don't believe a word they say and constantly have to call to make sure they're doing their job. They will do whatever they can to take your money and ensure you don't get any back. If you don't want to get completely ripped off and deal with this headache, make sure to avoid the fuck out of this place. read more
