Freeway funding took my car from a auto detailing shop after stating they didn't want to do the loan on the vehicle anymore. Once the vehicle was acquired by Freeway funding they were supposed to sell the vehicle and applied whatever the vehicle was sold for to the balance and then charge me the leftover balance, however the vehicle was never sold still to this day. I get letters in the mail of DMV asking me to pay registration on a vehicle that was for me by this company however they have also been reporting to my credit nonstop about a recall that is now seven years old, they keep reporting in his charge off debt, making other dealerships believe that I have a recent repo. When really I haven't had a car since that repo in that repo happened in about let's say 2019 I will be doing whatever I can to get this company off my credit report please stay away from these heathens read more

My insurance dropped temporarily so I had my insurance fax over proof of insurance and they dropped the ball somehow or misplaced it. Now they want to charge me a no insurance fee of $49...is it a con to extract more money? How much time of my life should I take to hold their hand in receiving a simple fax? Went into the office to situate this issue they laughed and acted very childish about situation lady named Angela couldn't even tell me the name in beginning until she had secretly spoke to her boss and continued to call the dealer.. they were literally on the phone with dealer both lying to me and when called out on it they acted like they didn't know a thing. I think Freeway Funding needs to more closely look at the dealerships that sends loans through. I bought a car it had issues so I traded it for a different car from same dealership. The dealership tried to get me to pay an extra $400 for their mess up. So I didn't but I bought the car in Dec 2018 and 1st pymt was Feb 15th 2019. Well since I didnt pay the extra $400, the dealership made the 1st pymt, paid the loan to Freeway Funding, then while my husband and I were working out of state first week of Feb, we had the car at the truck stop cuz my husband was a truck driver, the dealership had the car repoed!! A pymt wasnt even due and they had the nerve to do wut they did ALL because I wouldnt pay the $400 they wanted me to pay!! I filed a DMV investigation report against the dealership and was told I shud file lawsuit! So now Freeway Funding has put it on my credit report as a positive acct with one Bureau and negative on two of the Bureaus! And on my credit it shows 1st pymt made in Dec (that's wen I bought the car!) and on the other credit report it shows I made the 1st pymt in Jan 2019! So why did the dealership pay off my loan??? Just made my first payment with freeway funding it was not as bad as the reviews made it sound. Granted I was on hold for about 10-15 minuets but that was expected and other then a 8 dollar convenience fee my payment was processed within a few minutes and on time.
