Every aspect of the home is customized for our wants and needs and we're thrilled with the way it turned out. If you can dream it, they can build it. The drawback to that is there are so many options and choices - the sky (and your budget) is really the limit - so at times the process can be a bit daunting. Just come prepared and ask lots of questions. We really appreciate the quality of the finished product as well. Before selecting MK, we considered a few of the big box builders. We were quite surprised that one of them (Ivory Homes) did not include central A/C in their base price. MK included central A/C, cemented crawl space, thicker exterior walls, higher grade windows, etc. in its initial pricing. Mike Klauck Construction has also been very good about following up with the minor issues we noticed after closing. Their warranty/servicing department has been responsive, conscientious and has not had to come back a second time for any issues they have resolved.
