I have had tremendously bad luck with this company. I don't go very often but each time I do it turns into a half hour wait because they can never find the package I've come to get. Today I went to pick up a package that arrived THAT MORNING and it took a solid half hour for them to find it. Not only that, but my sister was with me and they found a letter that had arrived for her...in 2014, which they had never given to her, and she goes there fairly regularly. Wow, only 4 years late. I've used Freeport Forwarding for both personal and business cross-border shipping and receiving fo over a decade. They've looked after hundreds of items and not once has there been an issue of any kind. Quite the opposite. I wish every company we do business with was as efficient and knowledgeable as Freeport. read more

If you have something to ship from the US but they don't ship to Canada - Freeport Forwarding is a great service to use. You need to open an account with them first (free of charge). In return they will assign you a "box" number - use this as you would a suite number! Once the account is open you can have your items mailed to them and they will hold it for you until you are ready to pickup. There is a fee of $3 USD/parcel held and $20USD for a set of four tires. The front office can be a bit messy at times, but no worries. The staff are always able to find your parcel. read more

Long opening hours and super easy access literally beside the border and DFA duty-free. Before using Freeport, I read that they were disorganized but always end up finding your package and found that was very reflective of my experience. The staff struggled to find missing pieces for the folks in front of me and I ended up leaving with my 4 packages at least 15 minutes after going in. The fees are cheap though: $3 for most smaller boxes and packets. My packages were both UPS and USPS. I filled up a PS 1583 form to get a unit # at their address and that was easy to set up. I overheard the staff telling a customer on the phone that for smaller packages they can be transferred to another location close to town center for pickup during the weekend. Great value and convenience. Pickup experience could be better. read more

I have been using their service for years (10+) and their service has been excellent. Yes it could take a few minutes to find a package because they are a huge capacity environment, but they always come through and their pricing is very very affordable for the type of service they offer. I have been back lately and their system for finding your package(s) has improved greatly. read more

I just wanted to share my great experience with this company. Someone from Canada won my ebay auction for an electric guitar and had me send the guitar to Freeport Forwarding. I sent the guitar via the USPS and it arrived with a broken neck. The buyer refused delivery. Now this is where Freeport Forwarding comes in... I had to make several calls to them in order to locate the guitar and figure out what to do with it. Each time they were very cordial and helpful. They told me just to let them know what I wanted them to do and that they would do it for me. In the end, I had them send the broken guitar back to me, which they did very promptly. The point of my story is that they gave me great customer service and I'm not even a customer of theirs. I can only imagine what great service they must give their paying customers. read more

I am from Montréal and have been using them for the last 5 years on several occasions, at times I had a few items that were there for a month, nothing was missing their service is exceptional, it is a good place to have your items shipped from the states without going to the expense of having it shipped to Canada. If you use Freeport Forwarding be sure to get parcel tracking. I've lost $100's of dollars by them loosing my packages and then passing the blame to USPS. Once perhaps, but this has happened more frequently. Do yourself a favour, and avoid losses look into ReShip. Everythings tracked, and they do everything online so no waiting for an email answer like you need to go through with Freeporty Forwarding. read more
