This is the headquarters for the company. The thing that is special about this location is one of the few outlet stores. A lot of times, they may have furniture that was ordered and returned for various reasons. You'll find items that are about 1/5 the retail prices. Inventory will vary but if you can build a rapport with one of the associates, you could probably ask them to keep an eye on some specific pieces. The quality is top notch Thomasville but at a fraction of the cost. Unfortunately pictures are not allowed, so be prepared to buy! Shipping from NC to LA was about $1.50 a lbs.

This store is owned by the Thomasville Corporation in NC. 9/25/2012: I ordered one sofa, two chairs and one ottoman all in the same Grade 5 leather. My order was delayed, waiting for Thomasville to receive the leather. 4/4/2013: Six months later, the furniture was delivered. Although there are problems with each item, the worst problem is that they obviously do not match each other. The additional problems include flaws on both sofa seat cushions. The sofa back cushions are over-stuffed with fiber, and have no foam core (which adversely altered the design and support). The wing-back chairs are in Grade 3 (vs. Grade 5). They have some damage, and the seams along the sides and backs are lumpy. The ottoman does not match the chairs or the sofa, the top has an indentation, and all sides have scratches. The Design Consultant and Store Manager referred me to the Customer Service Manager. 4/19/2013: The Customer Service Manager sent a technician to examine the furniture and submit a report. (My requests for a copy of this report have been denied). At one point, he referred me to Corporate Customer Service, who in turn referred me back to the store. 5/14/2013: The Regional Manager (in reply to my email) stated that she was working with the VP and the head of the factory. She would contact me, after their evaluation, to let me know the outcome. 6/14/2013: Contrary to her 5/14 email, the Regional Manager refused to address the evaluation. Instead, she referred me back to the Customer Service Manager. Representatives of Thomasville repeatedly offered assistance, followed by a referral, which lead to another referral, and back again. Last week, Corporate Customer Service recommended that I call the President of Thomasville. I was instructed to leave her a voice mail message (as calls are always answered by a machine). I did this. I also sent her an email, and suggested that she visit my Facebook page. Today, while I continue to pursue an answer, Thomasville can follow me.

We ordered a sofa in good faith and they charged us plus/minus $300 for delivery. A week into having the sofa we noticed it was squeaking and that the pillows were sagging. My husband and I agreed that because it was maybe new, it needed to settle in a bit. Well, it just got progressively worse. Took us weeks to speak to someone at the store and we emailed with images and no response. I followed up a few times leaving messages with no return calls. Finally a good few weeks later we get told that it is indeed a factory fault and that they will replace it at a cost to us for delivery. What a way to treat customers! Please, the fact that it was their error and they sent us a lower standard sofa which 100% isn't our doing and now we have to carry the cost of their error? A sofa that looks like this after 3 weeks is essentially a load of rubbish and all I said is, okay, we will drop the sofa off, just give our money back minus the delivery charge. The first place we looked at was closed down, likely due to Covid which claimed so many businesses. Second, we came here, but this is not a clearance center in my opinion. They have great furniture, but not at clearance center prices. It looked like it was either family-owned or managed. They were very nice, but there was absolutely nothing at our price point. The dresser we thought might be a good option was around $600 which for this area is not bad and all wood, again not bad. What they do have is a massive selection, much of which feels pretty similar despite being from a wide variety of vendors. If you want higher end furniture, this is probably the place to get it because the prices are at least a bit less than the other options. Extremely disappointed with my experience…read more I purchased a leather sectional from Furnitureland South and also paid for a 5-year warranty because I expected to have protection for an expensive furniture purchase. Unfortunately, when the sectional was delivered, I immediately noticed several scratches, including a couple of very deep scratches on the leather. I contacted customer service less than 24 hours after delivery to report the damage. I was told that the scratches may have occurred during packing and that my warranty does not apply because the damage did not happen inside my home. This is extremely frustrating. If the furniture arrived at my home already damaged, why am I being held responsible for when or where the damage occurred? I reported the issue almost immediately after delivery, which should clearly indicate that the damage was present when I received the sectional. I purchased both the sectional and the 5-year warranty expecting Furnitureland South to stand behind the quality of the furniture and provide support when something goes wrong. Instead, I feel like I'm being given a technicality to avoid addressing damage that was there from the moment I received the furniture. For the price of the furniture and the additional cost of the warranty, I expected much better customer service and accountability. Very disappointed with both the condition of the sectional upon delivery and the way my concern was handled.
