I understand that people don't call travel agents anymore to book most domestic flights, but I'm so glad I did! Best Travel agent experiences ever (counting 2)! After spending hours (5) over the course of 3 days, I realized that I can make a quick phone call to our local travel agent, and get the same result in minutes if not seconds. Lettie was wonderfully prompt, courteous, and smart. She was able to help me book my flight immediately, or at least hold my reservation because I was suppose to call her back with the credit card info. I forgot, and called her back 2 days later, and she was able to book my new flights in 5 minutes. She even kept her notes from 2 days prior!! That means that I'm not just a number or another transaction! That was so painless, I don't know why I didn't think of that before! Since price was the main issue for me, I was super flexible in airports, but Lettie was very thorough and thoughtful to ask me about transportation arrangements/car drop-offs, etc. I will save myself the hours and back ache and definitely call her again. Also it feels so good to support a local business, even though they are moving out of their office this month. Apparently only Freedom Vacations and AAA club sells vacation packages in Downey left. We are newlyweds, and after the stress of planning a wedding, we didn't have the strength to plan anything else out! It was also our first time traveling for a long period of time without staying at a family members home. We contacted Lettie, and from the beginning she was AMAZING! Robert went above and beyond and completely proved why having a travel agent is the best way to make your vacation experience the most enjoyable. When my wife first told me she wanted to seek out a travel agent for our honeymoon i was confused because every other trip we've done we've just googled the net to death till we thought we found the best bang for our buck. This is a long story so buckle up.. In the beginning we told Robert nonstop to Cancun! So he found great flights and this really sick all inclusive that one day i would love to enjoy. About a month before our trip my now wife got a case of the everyone is going down with the Zika virus and told Robert to cancel the trip. He somehow gave us a full refund and said no worries, let me know if we can be of service in the future. Well 2 weeks later we decided on the big island of Hawaii. We had looked at a couple of hotel and flight options on our own and emailed Robert to see what he could do. Not only did he find nonstop flights, the 2 hotels we requested but he got it for cheaper and it included a convertible. Very stoked. Everything went seamlessly up until the 2nd hotel checkin. I was fine with it, it had an ocean view but the mrs. well she thought it was too dated and it had a bit of an odor. She wanted to check back into the 1st hotel, but unfortunately it was sold out. She called Robert asking if there was anything he could do..well here's what he did.. he got a full refund of the current hotel and got us checked in to a sister hotel of the 1st. So it was an absolutely amazing honeymoon and i can say with complete confidence that Robert with Freedom Vacations is the best way to go when planning your vacation. read more

Having never used travel agents before thinking it was just an additional cost, we found out that this isn't true and even if it were the service and professionalism from these folks is well worth it. We have used Freedom Vacations for numerous domestic flights and hotel reservations from up and down the east coast to a long weekend in Chicago. They can arrange everything from airport transportation to the flights and hotels and the daily tours of your destination. They think of it all and make suggestions on your input of ideas. I highly recommend this company and with their new office in the Inland Empire it is good to see they are still here after so many business's have downsized or closed their doors.
