I've used Freedom Tree Services now for 4 yrs. Charlie is a true arborist, listening to my concerns and providing advice. He & Jennifer are super quick in responding and extremely accommodating. As a team, they bend over backwards to make sure their clients are happy. They did a job for my neighbor after Snowmageddon, taking out 2 super tall dead palm trees, one next to their pool & patio, and another next to their house. Other trees and vegetation were protected; nothing was cracked, broken, or damaged, and they fell exactly where he orchestrated. It was fascinating to watch. He has done beautiful work on our trees, and we have received compliments as having the prettiest trees on the block. In the past, I've used other services at 2 other properties, some cheaper that were not arborists, that were awful, and some more expensive that were arborists, but Charlie is by far THE BEST. He and his crew are extremely polite & professional, and they do an amazing job of cleaning up. His fees are extremely fair, given the time they spend to do the job right, the equipment, debris removal & dump fees, and the expertise he brings. Charlie has an honest heart and will not take advantage of you. If he feels like something isn't safe or possibly damaging, he'll let you know, try to come up with a compromise, but he won't do it. He's bonded/ insured, where a lot of providers are not, protecting you if something gets inadvertently damaged. I trust him so much that this last time he came, to take out a huge 40 yr-old crepe myrtle in our backyard, we weren't even home. THAT says a lot about his integrity. I got several estimates. Prices were all pretty close. But Freedom Tree Service asked what I wanted and then clearly explain what they could do and what various result would be when trimming my live oak tree over my roof and blocking early morning sun on some of my solar panels. No one else explain anything to me. They would have over trimmed the tree and it may have eventually died. Freedom would have also over trimmed the tree, if that is what I wanted, but they told me the end results. So, Let Freedom tree service trim back the tree correctly, Still shades my solar panel some in the morning, but a hour of lost sun on a couple of panels was not worth losing a whole tree. Also trimmed 2 big red oaks in the front of the house. All the trees now looked clean and healthy. And everything was cleaned up before they left. This is a family owned business that knows Trees. If want your trees taken care of, wisely and correctly, Freedom tree Service are the people you need to come to your home. Before they left I got a business card. It now is on the refrigerator next to my AC, plumber and electrical contractor. When you find the best, those are the people you keep handy and available in case you have to call. I put a magnet to the back of the card and keep important need to call folks on the side of the Frig. Always easy to find that way. read more

We have used Freedom Tree Service for the last few years after recommended by our neighbor. Charlie us very knowledge and took a conservative approach on both of our oaks because I was worried about over cutting as well as removing overcrowded trees and excessive ball moss growth. We have used him each time we needed our trees trimmed and cleaned up. He is very prompt in scheduling an estimate and the subsequent services, sometimes even coming same day. The owner was very reasonable with price and ended up doing the job earlier than originally planned and did it himself in a very timely manner. My oak tree was way overgrown and touching my house and he cut it back and made it so the sun can come through the tree to help my grass grow. I am very pleased and thehappy with his work. My mother had an emergency (massive red oak lost a main branch, hitting the house) that left several other branches in danger of falling. Charlie and his crew went over and above to make sure they mitigated the danger to the house, and the public, by tying up the other main branches, then safely taking down the entire tree.
