CrossTimbers Marina

CrossTimbers Marina

Cross Timbers is a beautiful marina. We just recently purchased a boat that was docked at the one…read moreother marina on Skiatook and there is absolutely NO comparison between these marinas. The docks at Cross Timbers are very clean and in great shape. There are electrical and water hook ups at, or just adjacent to, each slip - something the other marina does not offer. All of the staff I have come in contact with (front desk, sales, Lakeside Grill, and maintenance) have all been very professional, courteous, and helpful. Parking could become a problem if we didn't drive a big truck, which it makes it easy for us to get down to the gravel lot, but I have been told by the manager that they are paving the gravel lot in a few months. Another huge bonus is that it is about 10 minutes closer to Tulsa! For the very little difference in cost from the other Skiatook marina there isn't a question on where to dock your boat! I have read the other review for this marina on Yelp and it seems the individual who left the review may have been confused.

Our friends keep their boat at this Marina . Yesterday we went there to enjoy a day on the lake…read more The little ramps that you walk on on the way to your boat are in such bad shape, the coating is completely gone ,so they are dangerously slippery. My friend slipped and fell, hurt her arm and burned her legs on that bear metal . Those things needed to be replaced long time ago. They did not want to complain about it, because they had problems with management before and nothing was done to fix it. But I say it's not a safe place to go or keep your boat at.

Friendly staff, easy to find, and very informative training to help us feel prepared to handle the rental. They had a discount on the rental for Labor Day but even prior to that, we priced several different marina rentals and Keystone seemed to be the best value.

On Saturday, the double-slide pontoon experience was wonderful. However, the ski boat for our anniversary day, August 1,2021 was a total disappointment. A few hours before we were to pick up the boat, the office called and rather nonchalantly informed us that the boat was no longer available!!!! We have kids that had travelled to OK from California. We are from the Branson area and are very accustomed to boat rentals. We were informed that we could reschedule and apply our hundreds of dollars deposit on another day! 50th wedding anniversary celebration...rescheduled? Things happen, but the lack of empathy for our situation caused me to post a bad review. Cole contacted us and apologized profusely and asked how the marina could make up for the employee's lack of professionalism. I thanked him and decided to chAnge the star rating. It really is one of the best marinas we have ever used.

Plenty of parking and very accessibility to riverboat. I purchased tickets online and arrived 10mins before take off. The boat wasn't crowded and seating was ample in an indoor air conditioned covered room. The bartender was at the back of the boat and drinks were inexpensive. It was a beautiful evening and everyone was friendly and courteous on the boat. Overall a great outing for me and my hubby. I'd love to come back for a girls evening out or with other couples... it was a good time!

The weather was a bit gnarly but that only added to the experience. There was only one other couple besides our party of seven so social distancing wasn't a problem at all. Everyone wore masks and the boat was incredibly clean and sanitized between each cruise. It was AWESOME to watch the boat dock when they came to pick us up. The Captain and First Mate obviously work beautifully together as a team. We felt safe, we had a great time, learned some fun and interesting Oklahoma River facts and we're pleased with the value of the experience. We'll be back!!

Initially I believe then, but if you can go out, which they were, the water level doesn't go up and down so that does not make sense. There were probably a dozen people on the cruise. The captain, hostess and food service workers were very nice!! The boat doesn't go fast and we didn't go far. It was awesome seeing the boats that came up and honked at us and waved. This is quite an asset and could really be utilized but an hour and a half slow boat ride, selling us individual serve wine, either Jack Black or Fireball mini bottles. This boat was previously the CHEROKEE Queen. I don't like the name change. The seating was tables and not super comfy. The few food and drink offerings they had were interesting meaning slim pickings. The boat seemed clean except the overwhelming amount of spider webs. They were everywhere and especially on the tables. What could they do better? Serve meals, do mystery cruises where a mystery takes place and people have parts and you work together to solve it, do wine tasting uses, just give us more to do on board. It was fun and we enjoyed it but there isn't enough to bring us back.
